Obama Announces First Benghazi “Capture”

He was never questioned since the attack (by authorities). And he lived openly in Benghazi.

The terrorist involved in the Benghazi attack said in an interview to an AP reporter . . .

“I am in my city, having a normal life and have no troubles,” he told The Associated Press late last year after he was first accused. He denied the allegations and said he didn’t fear being abducted from Libya.

And this is the Commander-in-Chief’s statement on the “capture.”

The fact that he is now in U.S. custody is a testament to the painstaking efforts of our military, law enforcement, and intelligence personnel.

President Obama also said that Ahmed Abu Khattala will . .  .

now face the full weight of the American justice system.

All of which means that this capture now, after two years of doing nothing, with President Obama’s approval ratings lower than ever, lower than Bush’s low, was nothing but politically motivated.

It also leaves open the question whether Attorney General Eric Holder will represent the United States or Khattala.

Bringing Club Gitmo detainees to trial in New York is just a continuance of Eric Holder’s defense (as opposed to prosecution) of these enemy combatants. Defending them is what he did at his New York law firm Covington & Burling.

Here’s the plea deal. He has to write “I will not kill infidels” 500 times on the blackboard, and he has to say that he was inspired by a video made by a guy who is still in prison, before he is released and returned to the battlefield in Afghanistan.

Illegals Are America’s Future? Really?

In case you haven’t heard, President Obama and Valerie Jarrett are saying (as justification for amnesty/Dream Act) that these kids coming illegally from Central America are America’s future. If that isn’t a WTF moment, I don’t know what is.

This is a statement you would expect to hear at a graduation ceremony at a high school, college, or university here. In this country. When these kids get that message, like they’re getting from their media in Central and South America, they’re thinking Yeah, let’s go.

Which brings to mind President Obama’s attitude about America. He feels America’s success in the last 200 years is a result of pillaging and stealing resources of other peoples. He doesn’t like our strong military that can project and protect peace around the world.

In addressing these children from South and Central America, Obama says they’re here to build America’s future. “That’s why they get in here. They are really, really special. They are the future of America.” Here’s a perspective no one is considering, especially the compliant media. H/T Rush Limbaugh . . .

Well, if they are so great for the US, why aren’t they great for their native countries?  If they’re great for us, I assume they’d be great for Mexico.  If they’re great for us — if they’re really, really going to determine our future — why wouldn’t they determine the future of Guatemala, El Salvador, et cetera?

So, is it right for us to steal the hope and future and future greatness of Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador by taking these young gifts of love away from those countries?  What gives us the right, I ask?  What gives us the right to take these young kids who determine the future? They’re so talented, they’re so good, they’re so important, that our future rests on them.  What about Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, where they are from?

Why aren’t American kids special? And why aren’t American kids the future of this country? What kind of president talks this way? In his mind, native-born kids are the kids of the oppressors. White privileged kids are the kids of the oppressors. But what president speaks this way?

The first president in our country’s history to speak this way is Barack Obama. That’s who.

And in typical fashion, this emotional appeal is not about anything humanitarian. The sleight of hand is, Obama isn’t talking about America’s future. He’s talking about the Democrat Party’s future.

AP, Taxes Could Damage Industry

Well this is rich. The AP is reporting that taxing the media (advertising media in this case) “could have damaging consequences” to the industry.

What caught my eye to this article was the headline that begins with “Media watchdog.” Only to find out that the media watchdog they were referring to is watchers of the media, not watchers of government. That dog died with the rise of Obama.

The irony of it all is that only now does the AP report that the notion of taxing a business “could have damaging consequences.” It’s perfectly alright to levy taxes on every other industry or person.

President Whines For Higher Minimum Wage

Got a note from my bud, the president, today. To help compensate for his lousy economy, he wants to make it even worse by increasing the minimum wage.  Further insuring that the long-term unemployed will stay that way. Because there will be fewer jobs to be had. Most of the jobs his economy has created so far are lower paying jobs in the food service and hospitality industries.

Barack, you have the power to lower the cost of living. So why don’t you? Instead, you want to continue to push costs up. Up in energy. Up in food. Up in transportation. Up in education. Up in public debt. And down in purchasing power. Give up on expecting the shrinking number of people who are still lucky enough to have a job (and yet unborn generations of Americans) to carry your share.

What’s Behind The New Surge Of Illegals?

This phenomenon of illegal immigrants, including minor children with no accompanying adult, that are flooding the Texas border will come as a complete surprise to President Obama. That is, until he reads about it in the paper. That’s been the meme so far with everything wrong with his administration.

This surge is no accident. Especially so in the eve of mid-term elections. And now that Eric Cantor was swamped by a real conservative that, unlike Cantor, believes in legal immigration and secure borders, you can bet that President Obama will be on a full court press to swamp resources in Arizona and every other state with illegals.

Why has the flow gone from 6,500 to 90,000 in one year? Something happened. Like this, Central America Newspapers Tout Open US Door for Illegal Minors. This has Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Andy Stern’s (SEIU) fingerprints all over it. If I had to guess that this is not an accident, I’d guess that these people are involved. It is the orchestrated crisis that Cloward and Piven wrote about. And a strategy that all three players take to heart.

And did you know that the lawless Obama administration, aside from not enforcing current immigration laws, is now committing child abuse en masse. If you or I dropped a minor child on a street corner or a bus station without an adult, you would be charged with child abuse. But when President Obama and ICE do it, no problem. Let’s dump these kids on Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer. “Serves the bitch right.” That’s where this administration is coming from. The country be damned. Oh well, of course. That is his goal you know. Tearing this country apart from everything it was founded on is part of what fundamental change (to him) looks like.

“Violating state law is something federal officials can still be held accountable for,” says Montgomery. “Kids are being dropped off in the middle of Phoenix, in June, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. I sent a letter to ICE, saying that if those circumstances are occurring, or did occur, would be a violation of Arizona laws against child abuse.”

This is why no one should be calling for impeachment. We should be calling for prosecution.

Sexual Harassment A Social Ill?

Since the so-called Arab Spring in Egypt, sexual assaults have increased exponentially, by groups of men, and in public places. Women’s groups called on Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi to do something about the “mass sexual rape and mass sexual assaults.”

On Monday, 29 women’s rights groups released a joint statement accusing the government of failing do enough to address the spiraling outbreak of mob attacks on women. “Combatting that phenomena requires a comprehensive national strategy,” they said.

The writer of the Associated Press story, Hamza Hendawi, goes out of his way to excuse or omit the obvious with this line. “Sexual harassment has been one of Egypt’s enduring social ills, embedded in the country’s patriarchal conservative culture, where women are generally seen as inferior to men.” Islam is the “social ill.” The slimy side of Islam floated to the top with the overthrow of Mubarak. And only got worse when the Muslim Brotherhood’s President Mohamed Morsi (also not mentioned in the article) was ousted by El-Sissi.

Illegal Immigration And Orchestrated Crisis

How not to secure your border. One would think that if we, as a country, are busing or flying any illegal anywhere, that it would be south instead of every other direction inside the United States. The Obama administration is hell-bent on open borders for the undocumented democrats they hope one day will be voting for them. They’re already aligned and used to a socialistic form of government. It is the kind of government that they are used to. So it isn’t a stretch to call them undocumented democrats when the Democrats start promising them free stuff. Stuff that those evil Republicans don’t want you to have. See how it goes?

And it is right out of the play book known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy. The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

No matter where the strategy is implemented, it shares the following features:

  1. The offensive organizes previously unorganized groups eligible for government benefits but not currently receiving all they can.
  2. The offensive seeks to identify new beneficiaries and/or create new benefits.
  3. The overarching aim is always to impose new stresses on target systems, with the ultimate goal of forcing their collapse.

Lawless administration aside, in a mid-term election cycle, this is what passes for immigration policy?

I’m all for keeping families together. Send them back to be with them.

But President Obama fixed that. He sent in advisors, and Michelle did her hash tag thing.

Boko Haram militants dressed as soldiers slaughtered at least 200 civilians in three villages in northeastern Nigeria and the military failed to intervene even though it was warned that an attack was imminent, witnesses said on Thursday.

Nothing here. Move on. Isn’t the president great?

Really Late-Term Abortion

It is characteristic of Progressives to always push the envelope. Into the absurd. It has me wondering how far is too far? Is there no limit? Take abortion for example. President Obama and the First Lady both believe in abortion after birth. It is extremely selective, discriminatory, perpetrated by a third person, and yet not called murder.

In a Progressive’s way of thinking, would terminating the life of illegal aliens crossing the border qualify as a late-term abortion? Probably not. Well, that is, unless Planned Parenthood were getting taxpayer funding to do it.

If one is not allowed, why is the other?

President Barack “Hope” Obama

One thing I like about President Barack Obama is, he never stops defending the indefensible. No matter how ridiculous his action or how big the lie. Like the great success Obamacare has been and how many millions of people have signed up (at the threat of government force and penalty) forgetting how many millions of Americans signed up because they had their policy cancelled because of the ACA.

Sooner or later, you have to conclude that when you continually have to justify what you are doing or what you have done to the American people, that maybe you’re not doing the people’s business? Maybe you’re not doing what they want? Maybe you are overstepping your Constitution boundary?

Latest example is his release of 5 of the world’s worse terrorists, declared so by the military. In exchange for one American soldier who, according to his letters, doesn’t like America as much as he.

According to a Reuters report . . .

Obama acknowledged that the Taliban fighters who were freed from the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in exchange for Bergdahl could engage in efforts that were detrimental to U.S. security again. He said he was confident the United States could go after those individuals if that were the case.

Right! Just like they went after the Islamic goons that killed Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans three years ago. NOT! The President is, yet again, placing Americans at risk by letting them go in the hope (hope is not a strategy) that they will like us and stop trying to kill us.

So where is the President’s concern for Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, being abused in a Mexican jail on trumped-up weapons charges? Well, Tahmooressi loves his country and there would be no benefit to Islamist goons.
