Wussification Of U.S. Navy

For days now we’ve head the story about Somali outlaws that pirated a boat with 4 Americans on board. The Americans were trying to live out their retirement sailing off of the East coast of Africa, and passing out bibles along the way as missionaries. As an aside, merely having bibles can get you killed in Islamic extremist circles.

While being shadowed and finally approached by the U.S. Navy, the Somalis shot and killed all of their hostages several hundred miles south of Oman.

Here’s where the plot thickens. According to The White House . . .

President Barack Obama was awakened to news of the deaths at 4:42 a.m. Washington time Tuesday. He had authorized the military on Saturday to use force in case of an imminent threat to the hostages, said White House spokesman Jay Carney.

And the headlines are US condemns pirate killings, Navy holding suspects. And Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a statement that the killings were “deplorable” and that they underscored the need for international cooperation on fighting the scourge of piracy in waters off the Horn of Africa. Like that’s going to have any consequence.

The remains of the four were taken aboard the USS Enterprise, as were 15 suspected pirates now facing charges in the deaths.

What’s wrong with this picture? If the Navy was authorized by the Commander In Chief to use force, why would there be 15 ‘suspects’ in custody? After all the history of these pirates, using our military to be constables is an abuse of the military. Forget the ‘suspected pirates’ angle, they are confirmed murderers on the high seas.

Just another case where President Obama cares less about protecting and defending Americans than the Islamic goons who murdered them. The Navy should let those prisoners go immediately. And I don’t mean in a boat. Take no prisoners. For their crimes, letting them go 600 miles out at sea is the best place for them.

So we’ve got an Islamic extremist Imam caught in the trunk of a car sneaking into the country from Mexico, and an extremist Islamic book from Iran found in the desert on the trail into the U.S..

Fortunately, someone is staying on top of things like terrorists making way into the U.S. and how ICE is protecting us. Debbie Schlussel adds the rest of the story.

[t]he extremist imam who illegally tried to sneak into the U.S. has already agreed to testify against the traitorous American who drove him here.  He didn’t agree to do this “just ‘cuz.”  Usually that’s in exchange for some sort of deal–the U.S. government agreeing not to jail this bastard . . . or even giving the imam assurances that he can stay on U.S. shores indefinitely.

Are authorities kissing up to Imam Said Jaziri? I suppose time will tell.

Obama Called It Terrorism

The suicide bombing in a Moscow airport is believed to have been carried out by Christian Islamic militants. Death toll is at 35 and over 100 are wounded.

In Washington, President Barack Obama condemned the “outrageous act of terrorism” and offered any assistance.

I applaud President Obama for his correct use of the T-word. It was not an outrageous man-made disaster. That was a terrorist attack. Now if he will get DHS Secretary Janet (Big Sis) Napolitano on board, then everyone will be on the same page.

Ham Traumatized Muslim

Imagine being in your 9th grade geography class and talking about different climates associated with different locations. Like what happened in a school in Spain recently.

The teacher was giving a normal lesson about the different climates on our planet, and he used the locality of Trevélez [Granada] as example of a cold and dry climate. For an anecdote, the teacher explained that precisely this climate was best for the curing of hams. Then the student demanded of the teacher, “Don’t speak about hams,” because this subject was offensive for him as he is a Muslim.

This is going way beyond political correctness.  There seems to be some kind of new Muslim supremacy being taught nowadays that kids would even think of such an absurd claim.

I wonder if we’re not looking at the Muslim version of the KKK?

WikiLeaks Vindicates Bush, What?

The WikiLeaks de facto declassification of privileged material makes it case closed: Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction — and intended to restart his program once the heat was off.

President George W. Bush, in the 2003 State of the Union address, uttered the infamous “16 words”: “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”

Former Ambassador Joe Wilson sprang into action and, in an op-ed piece, in effect wrote, “No, the Cheney administration sent me to investigate the allegation — and I found it without merit.”

I never doubted for a moment what Saddam Hussein’s intentions were, or that he did exactly what Bush and the British government said he did. And I credit Ted Kennedy (D-MA) for being the first to politicize the war effort. And, the rest is history.

The Right And Left Trade Places On Security

Is the TSA making us safe? Have they ever caught a terrorist entering a gate? Unless you live under the overpass in a Kenmore refrigerator double-wide cardboard box, you’ve heard all the attention that the new screening techniques has been getting in the news lately.

It is interesting to me, if not puzzling, to note the alternate universe of opinion about it. From a political perspective, there seems to have been some sort of role reversal. The hawks on the Right, who one would think would embrace this crotch grabbing of  airline passengers, back away from it. Not only because they think there is a better, and less intrusive, way to accomplish the same goal, but also because of Constitutional protections  and privacy rights that are being violated.  The pacifists on the Left, who one would think would have a cow at such invasions of privacy (especially if the president was an R), generally don’t see any problem with feeling up your wife, daughter, or 5 year-old son. Considering the terrorists have hidden explosives inside the body orifices, what’s next for the TSA?

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) was interviewed by talk radio host Alex Jones on the subject . . .

Responding to Alex Jones’ assertion that the TSA’s actions are akin to what the Nazis did in Germany during the 1930s, Ron Paul said that we long ago capitulated on “showing our papers” and now routinely provide Social Security numbers to employers and show our government issued driver’s license as an accepted form of identification. “Now the government wants us to show them our genitalia and they want to take pictures of us and put their hands into our pants,” he said.

How did the Obama administration’s TSA and Homeland Security get to this point? I think Ann Coulter nailed it in this one sentence, ‘Only because the terrorists are Muslims do we pretend not to notice who keeps trying to blow up our planes.’

(The rumor that Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) went back in line after being screened has not yet been confirmed.)

Attorney General Holder’s Glaring Incompetence

It should come as no surprise that Ahmed Ghailani was acquitted on 285 of 286 charges relating to his involvement in the 1998 US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, which killed 262 people. This trial highlights the fact that the American criminal justice system is no place to try Guantanamo Bay detainees, aka enemy combatants. It also is the cause of criticism directed to Attorney General Holder to step down.

Bringing Club Gitmo detainees to trial in New York is just a continuance of Eric Holder’s defense (as opposed to prosecution) of these enemy combatants. Defending them is what he did at his New York law firm Covington & Burling. That the trial of these Islamic extremists is more politically motivated (in Obama’s mind) than constitutionally motivated (to protect and defend) is evident when you consider that eight years ago, Holder was of the position that the Gitmo detainees did not qualify for protection under the Geneva Convention. The right and only place for their trials is via a military tribunal at Club Gitmo.

A random act of culture happened in Macy’s (formerly John Wanamaker’s) in Philadelphia last week, perpetrated by the Opera Company of Philadelphia. See if you can watch this video without tearing up. This brought about a union of people from all walks of life like no other. Only in America? Maybe so.

Another example of how stimulus money is being spent. How about $700,000 to study cow burps? Remember this, candidate, then President, Obama said he would not rest until every one that wanted a job could get one.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a little shock and awe. Here is a new Israeli hand fired tank buster. Shown here destroying the ordinance in the tank and its crew. The four other Syrian tanks following this one turned around.

Want to see the reason that this global war on terror will be a long one? Maybe a generation or two? Can’t wait to see what C.A.I.R. has to say about this child preacher. Nothing Islamophobic about this. Sad thing about it is, this isn’t the first child raised with the terrorist mindset, and won’t be the last.
