Worst Ever, Commander In Chief

President Obama gave the much-touted prime time address to the nation. After more than six months of watching ISIS convoys roll into Iraq from Syria, and watching  ISIS take back city after city in Iraq that our men and women and their families sacrificed so much for, President Obama now says he has a plan. This, two weeks after saying he had no plan for ISIS, and after watching two American journalists get beheaded, and after seeing his job approval rating fall to an all-time low, he had a conversation with the American people.

For the first time that I can recall, he used the L-word. Lead, as in leadership. Oh, did I mention his poll numbers for his ability to lead are also at an all time low?

What President Obama did is this. He told the enemy that he was coming for them. Gave them the heads up to move their assets around, spread them out, and not be an easy target. And to give cover for his piss-poor execution, he asked Congress to join him, even though he said he had the authority, and didn’t need them.

There isn’t war general, and has never been a Commander-in-Chief that will telegraph what the next move is, and what options he won’t use, like President Obama. And, appearing like a guest speaker at a VFW convention, he makes his speech behind a podium from a hallway in The White House. Not from his chair, behind his desk, in the oval office. Apparently, a well-financed and equipped Islamic terrorist organization that already controls half of Syria and Iraq, beheads Americans on video, that has declared war on us, isn’t important enough to come from there, the most un-used room at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

After all that, he can’t bring himself to declare war on them. A real leader, one committed to protecting and defending the people of the United States and all that the people of the United States already fought for, would have told the American people something like, “tonight the United States, with the help of our Joint Chiefs of Staff, have waged a massive attack on ISIS strategic locations inside Syria and Iraq . . .”

He needs to get the hell out of Washington, play golf, and leave the war fighting to the adults in the Pentagon. He’s a joke on the world stage. Anything but a world leader. Can’t be trusted at home or abroad. And an embarrassment to the nation.

President Addresses Nation On ISIS, Beheading

President Obama addressed the nation from the Oval Office to announce the beheading of another American journalist, Steven Sotloff, by ISIS. He said ISIS is a terror group whose goal is to set up an Islamic caliphate in the Middle East, enforcing strict Sharia law that includes killing of anyone that opposes them, including infants, women, and children. He also noted that ISIS has already taken over vast portions of Iraq and Syria as part of their goal.

He told the American people the bad news, that ISIS has declared war on the United States, and has threatened to kill more Americans if we keep on attacking them. As Commander-in-Chief, he expressed confidence that the United States will take the war to ISIS with all the military might we, and our coalition of the willing, have, wherever they are, and get the job done. He said he “will not rest” until ISIS has been killed.

Where’s The “Coalition of the Willing?”

Why is there no “coalition of the willing” to deal with ISIS and terrorism this time?

I’ll tell you why.

  1. President Obama hasn’t the stomach for it.
  2. No country in the world trusts Obama to do the right thing.
  3. No country in the world will put their troops under the direction of a Commander-in-Chief who works on a timetable instead of results. A commander who prefers to end wars than to win them. Nor one who gives dates for withdraw before the job is done. And who could blame them?
  4. Only a fool would partner with the one person most responsible for empowering ISIS and trust that he knows how to fix it.

Bottom line, Obama broke it. It’s his problem to fix.

Obama’s “Mission Accomplished”

and his wife Constancia Mangue De Obiang. Like his dictator uncle before him, President Obiang kills or jails political opponents. Wins elections with 99% of the vote, and there is no freedom of the press.

In another time, not so long ago, people around the world suffering oppression or genocide from evil dictators, could look and would look to the United States for help. Because we could help, and because we would help. We’ve been involved militarily to free people, not to take their land, but to free them from those kind of situations.

That was before we elected a President who’s mission became knocking America down to size, withdrawing from world affairs both militarily (in a way that supported our enemies) and morally (by ignoring security agreements with Ukraine).

Out to “improve” our image around the world, President Obama has successfully made that image into a country willing to watch the rest of the world go to hell in a hand basket, while turning our own society into a basket case, by a combination of no border enforcement and increasing the number of government-dependent citizens (usurping 20% of the private sector economy) with the lowest worker participation rate since the Jimmy Carter era.

Two current, and glaring, examples is when President Obama opened up The White House to host Africa’s worst despots and dictators. Correctly described as the “Monster’s Ball.” But not by any of the U.S. media. Imagine the hopes of the poor Africans being dashed when they see the president of the United States having a dinner party with the people directly responsible for their misery.

Then there is 40,000 religious minorities (Christian and other non-Islam), that have been literally chased to a mountain top by ISIS in Iraq, where ISIS says they will either starve to death or come down and be shot to death, unless they agree to convert to Islam.  This is the same group that the world (and President Obama) watched roll unopposed into Iraq in convoys to take it over after our departure. The world also watched Obama refuse (by stalling) Iraq’s request for air strikes on ISIS at a time when it would have been most effective. After all that we accomplished and sacrificed there.

America’s response isn’t to use our air-power to clear out ISIS to free those people. Obama’s response is to air-drop food to them. And threaten to use force IF ISIS attacks any U.S. installations left in Iraq. Apparently, America is now OK with the genocide about to take place.

This is Obama’s America. Is this the new America? The America Michelle Obama can be proud of? There you have it. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

For Gaza, This War’s For You!

Weak-kneed politicians, like President Obama and Sec. of State John Kerry asking for Israel to cool it, are showing their ignorance and/or incompetence on the world stage where war is concerned. And casts doubt on how they might react if the United States was under attack like Israel has been. Leaving open borders already casts doubt on their idea of national security.

Recently, Joe Scarborough brought attention to himself on his ‘Morning Joe’ show for comments he made about Israel’s actions in Gaza. People, he said, just mis-understood what he meant. So he made it more clear yesterday.

He still contends that Israel is making their case (their case?) worse by fighting back. He’s forgotten what war is. Yes Virginia, wars still exist.

Well, I think it’s simple enough but, Gene, let’s talk quickly about how Hamas, this is a great tragedy after the humanitarian crisis, Hamas, I saw some polls that said over 80 percent of people in Gaza hated Hamas, wanted them out. They were forced to strike a deal with the Palestinian authority. Egypt is against them. Saudi Arabia is against them. U.A.E. is against them. You go down the list. Jordan is against them. They were isolated. This is only serving to prop them back up and it’s the last thing in the long run that Israel needs.

Polls saying that 80% of people in Gaza “hate” Hamas belies the fact that, knowing Hamas’ goal of eliminating the Jewish State (Israel), those people in Gaza elected Hamas and put them in power.

As I recall, it was the PA that had an election there. It was the PA that also knew what Hamas was all about, and that the majority of people in Gaza were Hamas sympathizers. The PA knew what the outcome would be. They got what they expected. Which makes it simpler for Israel to deal with. They’re not responding to a radical minority, they’re reacting to an elected government that wants them all dead.

Gaza (Hamas) wages war on Israel, so Israel engages in war to defend themselves. In a war, civilians also pay the consequence. Besides Israel’s measured response, there are no “innocent civilians.” They are, by definition, Israel’s enemy.

How quickly we forget how hundreds of thousands, or millions, of people (innocent civilians) were killed during WWI and WWII. No one was bellyaching about “the children.”

There will never be peace in that region until one side wins, and the other side either gives up or dies trying.

Islamic Civil War Anyone?

If there is a so-called War on Islam, it is being perpetrated by the Islamic terrorists themselves. Not the United States. Not Christians.

The official listed the most notable losses to Muslim heritage as being the shrines of Imam Yahya Ibn al-Qassem, Aoun al-Din and Nabi Danial. “But the worst destruction was of Nabi Yunus, which has been turned to dust,” he said.

Obama Regime Passes Iraq Off To Russia

kerry_iraq_border_lost US Secretary of State Kerry’s visit to Iraq comes after radical Sunni militants gain control of the Jordanian border, which, after the loss of the Syrian border, is piling pressure on Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki. (Image captured from a Reuters TV video clip) Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki could just do what Obama did and say, hey, they are Iraq’s future.

Ripping defeat from the jaws of victory, by virtually abandoning Iraq, and refusing Maliki’s request for air support when the invasion was starting, and refusing to sell jets to Iraq so they can defend themselves, the Obama regime just handed Iraq over to Russia. Putin is all too happy to sell Iraq the jets they want and to expand their reach into the oil-rich region. And the sacrifice the United States made in blood and treasure is all for naught. And we have no one else to thank but our community organizer president Barack Hussein Obama, Mmm Mmm Mmm.

There are so many commercials on TV for ED (erectile dysfunction) that are getting downright boring to watch. A couple sitting in their own bathtub looking over a sunset. Another couple grinning at each other while doing yard work. You’ve seen them. Seems like a topic ripe for a SNL skit. But would they do it?

There is a whole other market that is being ignored. How long before we start seeing ads that cover couples like these?

Foreign Policy? What Foreign Policy?

January 1, 2014 to June 23, 2014, after a decade of war, trillions of dollars, and hundreds of thousands of American lives lost or affected, the progress and victory in Iraq has vanished. Iraq is being over-run by al-Qaeda type terrorists, slaughtering Iraqis along the way.

Libya, gone. Syria, gone. Russia, belligerent as ever and making a mockery of Obama while invading and taking parts of Ukraine.

Our allies, like Poland and Ukraine, know that the United States can not be counted on as an ally in any real sense. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski believes his country’s alliance with the US is worth nothing. And then some.

“The Polish-American alliance is not worth anything. It’s even damaging, because it creates a false sense of security in Poland,” Sikorski allegedly said.

“Complete bullshit,” the tape purportedly records Sikorski as saying. “We will get a conflict with both Russians and Germans, and we’re going to think that everything is great, because we gave the Americans a blowjob. Suckers. Total suckers.”

Can’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s what you get when you put a community organizer in The White House.

Surrender-in-Chief

President Obama, our elected Commander-in-Chief, has demonstrated over and over his naiveté in foreign policy. If you can point to one successful, tactical foreign policy decision, then you’re a magician because there isn’t one. North Korea, China, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, Eastern Europe’s missile defense shield, Israel, Lebanon, Arab Spring, Red Lines.

Likewise, his military acumen as a warrior is totally laughable. Except for the fact that he is responsible for our sons and daughters in harm’s way. He fights wars based on timetables instead of results. And he announces them, not just to his political hacks but, to the enemy. He creates a false narrative about the Benghazi attack, and broadcasts apologies to the Islamist goons in Pakistan about a movie that they likely never saw. As if they will do anything other than laugh at his amateur hour.

Withholding judgment whether Bowe Bergdahl is a deserter (an investigation will tell), this latest prisoner swap (he does negotiate with terrorists) is yet another example of how far Barack Obama will go to 1) stick it to the military, 2) appease terrorists in hoping (“hope” is not a strategy) that they’ll like us, 3) let these 5 terrorist kingpins go free after one year (who were supposed to be detained until the cessation of hostilities, ie. indefinitely). That is, if Qatar doesn’t release them or allow them to escape beforehand, and 4) he finally has a chance to give preference or weight to an Islamist goon, over an American. When the era of slavery was coming to an end, there was a time when slaves counted as 3/5 of a person. But today, President Obama (who claims to be Black) has a chance to exercise a little payback. Bergdahl weighs in at 1/5. One American, in exchange for the 5 most dangerous terrorists on the planet.

And that makes sense to who? Makes one think that President Obama is on the wrong side in this war. Problem is, he thinks he’s on the right side.
