Bin Laden Audio Message

Yeah. It is this Muslim, and his followers, that the West needs to neutralize. Maybe NPR will rebroadcast this. Do ya think?

As an aside, even Bin Ladin sees America headed towards bankruptcy, were it a perfect world. There are some vacancies in Obama’s economic czar department. But left up to Obama and his advisers, we’ll just print more money, create trickle up poverty, and transform America into just another broke and lazy country whose people are dependent on government. Oh happy day. NOT

Quran Burning Day, Misquided

No doubt that Rev. Terry Jones, the minister of a so-called church (in Florida no less) is out to get some publicity. Regardless of the fact that doing so will only stir up emotions among the good Muslims or those ‘on the fence’ in being on the right side of the war on terror, this fool is hell-bent on doing it. There is also no doubt that he can do it, legally. The same as that Imam Rauf guy can build a mosque in a building that was hit in the 9/11 attack, making it actual ground zero. But in both cases it would be wrong and insensitive to do it. Chaulk it up to having a secular government with inherent freedoms.

Gen. David Petraeus expressed concern that this Quran burning party would endanger U.S. troops in theater. More than they are already in danger. Also no doubt, the General has a point. But let’s face it. The enemy there is and always will be our enemy until they either surrender or die. Not burning a Quran is not going to change that fact. And given the motivation of those radical Islamists, who betray Islam, the best thing the General can do is kill them. War is about killing people and breaking things. The responsibility to ‘finish them’ belongs to the Commander in Cheif. Think that will happen?

Also, have you noticed the same people who ran in front of the camera in support of that Imam are missing with respect to Rev. Jones? Same issue, rights and freedom. But like the proposed ground zero mosque, just because it could be done, doesn’t mean it should be done. Rev. Jones needs to get a grip, same as Rev. Wright needs to get a grip. Both are preaching and fomenting hate. One is a race bigot, the other a religious bigot.

There is an opportunity and a role that the media could play in this sick display planned by Rev. Jones. They could flat-out ignore him. Ignore him in print and on TV. That would be acting responsibly.

Also acting responsibly would be to deal with the real issues of oppressive Muslim society where it comes to stoning a woman in Iran. THAT ought to be front-page, above the fold. Not this jerk in Florida.

This undated file image made available by Amnesty International in London on Thursday, July 8, 2010, shows Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, a mother of two who was sentenced to death by stoning in Iran on charges of adultery. Ashtiani is now facing a new punishment of 99 lashes because a British newspaper ran a picture of an unveiled woman mistakenly identified as her, the woman’s son said Monday. Who Should ‘Recognize And Respect’ Ground Zero?

From The White House, speaking at an event to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, President Obama hung out yet another straw man argument in support of the radical* Imam’s intent to build a mosque near ground zero when he said . . .

As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances.

No, there is no Constitutional right to build anything in this country. On the contrary, under the property grabbing scheme of eminent domain, they can take your property from you to give to someone else. Building a mosque has nothing whatsoever to do with religious freedom.

The president also said . . .

We must all recognize and respect the sensibilities surrounding the development of lower Manhattan. The 9/11 attacks were a deeply traumatic event for our country. The pain and experience of suffering by those who have lost loved ones is just unimaginable.  Ground zero is indeed hallowed ground.

So why is it that the president is not asking this Imam to show some tolerance and respect to the victims of 9/11 and the country, instead of the other way around?

Saudi Arabia Gives Israel Air Space

Where Israel is concerned, this is how an ally for a lasting peace in the Middle East should behave . Permitting Israel to protect itself from a nuclear armed Iran will not only protect Israel but the rest of the Middle East.  Saudi Arabia gets it.

Today’s news is chock full of lessons for the Obama administration and the United Nations who are suffering from the political correct illness of denial where Iran is concerned.

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.

In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.

It’s not about oil. It’s about survival.

Muslim Militants Still Beheading

This should be required reading for White House assistant to the president for homeland security and counter-terrorism John Brennan, U.S. Attorney General  Eric Holder, and their boss President Barack Obama.

Al-Qaida-linked militants beheaded three loggers in the Philippines in apparent retaliation for government offensives in the country’s south, security officials said Sunday.

The killings were carried out as the country celebrated its 112th Independence Day, the latest in a series of terror acts by the Abu Sayyaf insurgency to mark the holiday.

Three loggers, who happen to be Christians, get their heads cut off by (listen up you three) Islamofascists, Terrorists, Muslim Extremists, aka, the enemy of the civilized world who need to be kept and treated as enemy combatants, not criminals.

For this enemy, beheading non-believers has become their version of setting off fireworks for the holiday.

Times Square Car Bomber

Like the Christmas day airline bomber, we have another successful attack and unsuccessful detonation.  Counting the shootings at an Army recruiting office, the Ft. Hood shootings, and the Christmas Day airline bomber, we now have 4 successful attacks on our homeland in the last 12 months. Lucky for us, two bombs failed to detonate.

Screen capture from a Times Square web cam below. The suspect vehicle is the black SUV at the bottom of the picture.

Illustrating the level of denial of the war on terror and just who the enemy is, and/or the extent to which some in the administration and progressives are quick to seek political advantage at the expense of Americans in Times Square by positing the notion that the perpetrator was likely a tea party person or some right winger who doesn’t like Obamacare.

According to Bloomberg . . .

“If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that: homegrown, or maybe a mentally deranged person, or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything,” Bloomberg told Couric. “There is no evidence here of a conspiracy, there is no evidence that it’s tied into anything else. It looks like an amateurish job done by at least one person,” he said.

And just to make you feel safe,   Janet Napolitano, the homeland security secretary — described it as a “one-off” saying ‘there was no evidence of a continued threat to the city.’  That’s good news. What? Did bin Ladin and alQaeda give up? New Yorkers no longer have to worry about another attack?

What are your anonymous thoughts? Here’s a totally politically incorrect poll. On this poll you can check more than one box.  May want to keep it handy the next time we are attacked.

The New Nuclear Strategy, Quit

Seems like only yesterday that then candidate Obama said if you bring a knife to a fight, I’ll bring a gun. That was the campaign version of Obama. The real version is this one, virtually disassembling the nuclear deterrent strategy that won the cold war and has kept the peace among other nuclear equipped nations since the end of WWII.

President Obama has a unique talent apart from all previous U.S. presidents. He demonstrates a natural ability to diss our allies all over the globe, including our own country, while giving potential adversaries hope in America’s new found weakness. Weakness in our economy with overwhelming debt for future generations, exacerbated by his fundamentally transforming America into yet another welfare state. And now weakness in our military deterrence.

This is like the apology tour gone wild. As if his words are not bad enough, this Commander in Chief is dismantling our defenses around the world where missile defense is concerned, and now is telling potential aggressors that they are entitled to a free shot at the United States with no fear of being squashed like a bug with a nuclear warhead landing in their homeland. Well isn’t that special?

How’s that hope and change working for you?

Obama Signs To Extend Patriot Act

Due to expire today unless approved by Congress and signed by President Obama, the extension of the Patriot Act was approved by the House, the Senate, and signed by the President Saturday, Feb 27, 2010. Well alright!

Let’s not let our guard down and scrap the best tool in the toolbox to fight terrorism where it counts most. Within our own borders.

I’m so proud of my President today. It shows it is still possible for him to put the country’s interests ahead of what he ran on as a candidate. I must be more proud of the signing than the President though, because The White House didn’t put news of the signing into law on its website. Maybe hoping his base won’t notice?

In what could (but it won’t) be characterized in the media as a welcome sign of bi-partisanship, the House voted 319 to 97 in favor of the measure. Unwilling to put their name to it, the Senate passed it on a voice vote Wednesday night.

Stand back and watch the fur fly when Obama’s political Left base finds out about it. Like it or not, believe it or not, we are at war. It was the right thing, and the adult thing, to do.

Biden Re-writes History On Iraq

Seems like only yesterday that the current administration, before they became the current administration, was poo-pooing General Paetreaus’s plan for the surge in Iraq, which he expected would bring about the change needed to prepare Iraq for self-governance. From the moment it was proposed to months before Gen. Petreaus’s first progress report, the mantra was, the surge won’t work and the war is lost. In fact, Sen. Biden’s plan was to partition Iraq into three pieces.

But last week on the Larry King Show, Vice President Joe Biden said this about Iraq . . .

I am very optimistic about — about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.

Why the sudden shift in strategy when they could just blame Bush? For some evidence in Vice President Biden’s re-writing of history, follow any of these links:
