Obamacare Highlights And Racketeering

Through congressional hearings and testimony from HHS Secretary Sebelius and Deputy Chief Information Officer Henry Chao, the head IT guy responsible for the website development from front to back, here’s where we are. Now, keep in mind all the promises made by the President and Sebelius of how the website is ready to go live on October 1st.

The website crashes continually. You can’t shop plans. You can’t even buy plans. The great majority of people who were successful in getting through found themselves qualified for Medicaid, joined it, and so are not contributing a dime to lowering the cost. Instead, are contributing to raising cost and increasing the debt.

When questioned about what the administration’s plans are to increase the participation of the young and healthy, the target group that is supposed to be footing the bill to lower cost, Secretary Sebelius said there are marketing plans to handle that. Turns out, it is a marketing campaign promoting promiscuous behavior and binge drinking. I doubt the millennials are so gullible as to identify with such a despicable government-sponsored marketing campaign. No doubt they are as offended by it as anyone else would be to learn what their government thinks of them.

Through congressional testimony today, Nov. 19, 2013, we learn that the website, healthcare.gov, is not finished being built yet, to the tune of between 30 and 70 percent. The back office part of the website that pays insurance companies hasn’t been built yet. This, for a program that is to start paying insurance carriers on January 1, 2014. At the same time, and no doubt related to the payment system not built yet, we learn that Obama has met with insurance companies and is telling them that the government (you and I) will reimburse them for any loss in profits they may incur as a result their mandated participation in Obamacare. Recall that President Obama is the guy that told the American people that he would not sign the bill (ACA) if it added one dime to the national debt. What’s worse, this isn’t even a “bailout” as we’ve been accustomed to. This is an ongoing taxpayer obligation to bail out Obamacare for the next three years. And after that?

From beginning to end, what has been perpetrated on the American people is worse than fraud. This whole Obamacare effort makes Ken Lay (Enron) and Bernie Madoff look like pikers. This is racketeering and robbery (of taxpayers) on the national level. And finally, public opinion is catching on that Barack Obama isn’t trustworthy. Sorry it took them five years to figure him out because it cost families and our economy dearly.

Somebody, I guess it’ll have to be Congress, has to perp walk Obama right out of The White House. But I’ll settle for the full repeal of Obamacare and begin debate on H.R. 2300, the Empowering Patients First Act of 2013. This is the free-market alternative to government-controlled health care and government-controlled health insurance.

Obama Shifts Blame From Himself To Insurance Companies

In response to everyone’s dissatisfaction with Obama’s lying about ‘you can keep your plan and your doctor, period,’ and in the wake of over five million obama_on_aca-trustpolicies being cancelled, affecting three times that many people, Obama’s humbling and gratuitous speech on Thursday was pure political hokus pokus. And more FUD factor.

Constitutional authority aside (everyone knows he doesn’t respect that), King President Obama declared that he now wants insurance companies to let people get the plans that they like back, he didn’t say at the same price. He didn’t change the law. All he is doing is he’s choosing not to enforce the Affordable Care Act, aka “settled law,” for a year. See, it’s only settled law when he wants it to be settled law.

He did this on Thursday in an attempt to stifle the House from passing the H.R. 3350: Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013. A bill that he promised to veto and ultimately passed the House Friday by 61% with bipartisan support. (R’s 222, D’s 39) That bill does change the law, and does allow insurance companies not only to offer policies that people may want, but it also allows new purchasers to buy plans that they want too, without all the ACA mandates.

Since Obama did not change the law, the policies are still illegal under the ACA. It’s unrealistic to expect that insurance companies will start selling illegal policies when they are given zero immunity from Obama should they end up in court in a dispute over an illegal policy. And since Obama’s idea is to postpone this enforcement for a year, there’s no reason to assume that the premiums will be the same as before the ACA went into effect either.

So what happens when the insurance companies don’t bow to the King and reinstate illegal policies? He can, and will, say how the insurance companies are just greedy, bla bla bla, and take the focus of blame off of himself and the ACA and shift it to “those evil insurance companies.”

Why does President Obama say he’ll veto the Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013? The President says that Obamacare introduces competition which will bring down cost. The true part is that competition brings down cost. The lie part is that Obamacare is competition. By vetoing this bill, Obama is eliminating competition by preventing insurance companies to offer plans of their own that people want that are not burdened with government mandates, ie. “inferior policies.” And he can’t let the free market work if Obamacare is to succeed. To put it another way, unless the insurance industry is neutered or just goes out of business, he won’t be able to fundamentally change the country to a nationalized health care model.

Debt, America’s New Massa

The Daily Beast is just dumfounded at the suggestion that there is a new kind of slavery going on. It’s OK that The Beast doesn’t get the metaphor. Maybe it’s a little national-debt-per-capitatoo deep for them to understand.

It boils down to this. like slaves were owned, our future generations will be owned by the debt we are putting them in today. China, the debt, becomes the new Massa for generations to come.

The political left has gotten drunk with their “racist” ranting. That’s OK as long as everyone realizes that it just means they have no way to discuss the real problem, the debt, so they do what they do, re-direct the issue to anything else.

aSide Order

The experiment using monkeys is framed as them receiving unequal pay. It certainly, and quickly, brings out a primal behavior. If I were to characterize the behavior, I would see it from a different perspective. Like the motivation and energy that is inherent in seeing a goal and doing something to make that goal.

Let that lab person represent the government providing handouts. Given equally, there is no motivation or drive to do anything more or realize full potential. That is why I would measure compassion, not by how many people I can get on the welfare or food stamp rolls, but by how many people I can get off of them via people realizing their own potential and moving up that economic ladder. Instead of running from side to side.

This quote is not from Ben Stein. That, according to Snopes according to Ben Stein. But, does it really matter who said it? Read it for what it says. Who wrote it is irrelevant. I’m guessing he, or she, wasn’t a Democrat.

Obama Secretly Eased Sanctions On Iran

obama_rouhani
You can’t keep your health care plan. But Iran can keep their nuclear weapons plan.

For years, decades, Iran has been under increasing sanctions for the purpose of what? Discouraging them from developing nuclear weapons. The kind of nuclear enrichment they continue to do has nothing to do with producing electrical power or anything in the field of medicine.

So easing sanctions on Iran’s financing, without them first dismantling something of their nuclear capacity does what? It enables Iran to continue to develop their nuclear program.

So not only does our president negatively impact Americans with a sluggish economy and an unaffordable takeover of the health insurance and health care industries. Now he’s going all out and endangering the world, the Middle East, and our ally there, Israel, by easing sanctions on Iran without any concessions from them. Did I say he secretly lifted sanctions?

So basically it’s like this. Iran can keep their nuclear weapons program, but you can’t keep your health insurance policy or your doctor, or both.

The boy is dangerous to everyone, everywhere around the world. And yes, I’m calling Obama a boy because his judgement isn’t any better than a 9 year old. And his lies are monumental.

Obamacare Makes Country Music Award Show

Funny bit by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on the 2013 CMA. “Obamacare, over six people served.”

Some jerks in cyberspace are accusing the audience of being, among other things, racists because they all laughed and got it. Probably because they’ve tried to check out their health care options like I did and got exactly what the parody portrayed.

But to those jerks I’d say, Yeah right!  We would be dancing in the streets celebrating the dawning of government control of our health care if only Barack Obama were white.

How McAuliff Won Virginia

How did McAuliff win, steal, Virginia? You do what Democrats do. In a tight race, you enlist the help, or invent the help, of a third party to siphon off the votes of your opponent. It’s dirty pool, but this is exactly what happened in Virginia. The Democrats/media (and establishment Republicans) spin of the aftermath will undoubtedly be how the Tea Party (which isn’t a party but ordinary Americans) has lost its power because they supported Cuccinelli. The media isn’t calling it a landslide. Not only because it was so close, but because more people voted against McAuliff than voted for him. Much to their (and establishment Republicans), the Tea Party is alive and well.

The RNC didn’t help Cuccinelli. They spent as much on him as the SEIU alone spent on McAuliff, and only one third as much as they spent in the last gubernatorial race in Virginia. And only because the tea party supported him.

Were it not for big Obama bundler Joe Liemandt and his “Libertarian Booster PAC”, the “libertarian” candidate (who isn’t a libertarian) would not have gotten on the ballot. And the 7% of the votes he siphoned off of Cuccinelli gave McAuliff his 3% win. Reported robo calls into conservative districts telling voters that Cuccinelli supported Obamacare and abortion on demand, which smells of the SEIU, just added to the dirty tricks that Republicans have to learn how to overcome. The politics of fair play just don’t work any more.

Establishment republicans need to find their spine and quit trying to be Democrat-Lite. Republicans also better soon embrace their core, as in Tea Party, principles if they really want to avoid the debt iceberg and turn this ship, America, around. Something they appear to have no interest in doing.

Obamacare Enrollments First Day, 6, Second Day 248

obamacare_enrollments4 million visits and 6 enrollments on first day. 248 enrollments by day two. To meet goals (and projected cost savings), the enrollment must be 39,000 per day. So far, the vast majority of enrollees in the state exchanges are going to Medicaid. Which means, they are not contributing to cost reduction, but rather government dependence. Which means, higher costs for everyone else, and increased debt.

I remember President Obama saying (I know, he says a lot of things) that he wouldn’t sign the bill if it added one dime to the national debt. If he doesn’t himself call for the repeal of his signature train wreck of a piece of legislation, then you can add this to his list of lies.
