33.1% gdp, Pelosi claims credit

Nancy Pelosi, guest on a Bloomberg TV show, about the huge 33% GDP 3rd Quarter numbers.

“Does that make you think that we may not need another stimulus as much as we thought we did?”
 
PELOSI: No. In fact, it is proof that we need the stimulus even more so. The reason we had a good — a better third quarter is because what we did in the CARES Act and the subsequent legislation for PPP that put money into the economy. That’s gonna wear off, and we need another infusion.”
 
With no shame, Pelosi claims credit for the 33% increase in GDP 3Q. She also claimed that it required their wish list of COVID relief that has nothing to do with COVID.
 
Makes you wonder how much better the numbers would have been if New York, California, New Jersey, Hawaii, and a few other Blue states had participated? 
 
During the relatively flat 2% +or- GDP years of the Obama/Biden administration, we suffered two stimulus packages that did more for labor unions than the economy. No effect to GDP.
 
Truth is, Democrats are never satisfied, and can never be satisfied, when it comes to growing the size of government and government spending. That’s why they call it investing. Sounds better to the dumb masses.

Bobulinski blackout

“Tony Bobulinski, former business associate of Hunter Biden, addresses media in Nashville, Tenn. ahead of second presidential debate.”
 
And by “media,” only FOX News covered it live or reported it.
 
Here’s where the media is today. Well, aside from being the PR Department for the Democrat Party. For over three years, they have been reporting nothing but Trump/Russia collusion in trying to rig the election to favor Trump. Which was proven to be a lie. And they still carry it on today, a la Rep. Adam BullSchiff.
 
And today, when there is a real live participant (that would be like a real whistleblower), who wants to publicly set the record straight, the same media will NOT cover it. Which arguably could be considered an attempt to rig THIS election.

Ukraine, the Bidens, and corruption

The Ukraine government held a press conference on “international corruption and external governance of Ukraine.” The hour-long video includes recorded phone conversations between Joe Biden and Ukrainian officials. It necessarily includes Barisma and other corrupt Ukranian companies, including Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and their participation. 

It lays out how Ukranian money left Ukraine for Hunter Biden and his shadow businesses and partners. It also accuses the U.S. Treasury Dept swamp of trying to stop this Ukranian official from releasing their findings.

Ukranian investigators want to talk to Joe and Hunter Biden about it, in Ukraine, under oath. How’s that for a way to end a campaign?

Bank out of change

Have you tried buying change at the bank lately?  They’re rationing whatever they have because they can’t get any from the Federal Reserve Bank in Mobile.  This probably doesn’t mean much if you don’t own a business, or you have a business that doesn’t deal in cash.

Quarters, for example, come in a box of 50 rolls. Knowing about this shortage, I tried to buy ten rolls instead of the usual box. She gave me two rolls. Try making change when there isn’t any. 

Below is a letter addressed to our State representatives and President Trump.

First of all, thank you for your service and representation. I am appealing to you for a solution to a problem I thought, as a small business owner, I would never have to deal with. I’m asking you because this is a Federal issue. 

I don’t know if is a national problem or just in NW Florida, but I can not get enough coin change from our Regions Bank in Pensacola. They tell me that the Federal Reserve Bank in Mobile, where they get their change from, is closed. Something to do with COVID-19. I don’t know if that’s the case, but that’s what I’m told.

I understand that, by law, a bank can not be closed for more than three days. So I was not concerned about not getting change for our business. But this has gone on for two weeks with no end in sight.

This is a problem. A big problem. And not a peep about it in the news, so I’m proud to be the one to tell you that the problem exists. Please find a way to solve this problem.

Putin’s Puppets

60 Minutes reports that Russia’s goal is to sow discord and division in and about our country. Ironic that they don’t credit Democrats and the media for doing Putin’s bidding.

Former FBI spy-hunter Robert Anderson says Russia’s goals today are the same as in the Soviet era: to sow discord in the U.S. and doubt about our democracy around the world.

Lawless resistance

Democrats are first to declare, amid their Congressional investigations, “we need to get to the facts, we need to find out what happened.” Well, who could disagree with that?

First, they begin with the presumption that something illegal happened. Now all that’s left for them to do is to find out what it was.

Carrying on investigations in search of a crime, if not committing a crime to find a crime, is not aligned with that whole “innocent until proven guilty” thing. You know, the Constitution.

This is why Democrats must be defeated in every election, until they come to their senses and actually support, protect, and defend the U.S. Constitution.

Public health alert, again

Wouldn’t it be nice to see the water quality of Bayou Texar be safe to go into again? Right now, it is not. Page through the last year of Health Department inspections and see how often this occurs for Bayou Texar.

Unless you’ve been paying attention, you will be surprised to learn that the regular and chronic closing of Bayou Texar due to fecal contamination has been an issue in Pensacola for over 30 years. And it isn’t getting any better. Not surprising since the City/County/State government has done nothing to remedy the situation. 

Now, Bayou Texar is ranked the worst in the State of Florida.

Top six Florida sample sites by the number of potentially unsafe days:

  • Bayou Texar: 24 (Escambia County)
  • Sanders Beach: 23 (Escambia County)
  • Crandon Park on Key Biscayne: 17 (Miami-Dade County)
  • Bird Key Park: 17 (Sarasota County)
  • Venice Fishing Pier: 15 (Sarasota County)
  • Bayou Chico: 14 (Escambia County)

The report also revealed, “a sampling site at Bayou Texar in Escambia County was potentially unsafe for 24 days, more than any other site in the state.”

Bayou Texar water quality and what’s being done about it has been on The Lunch Counter’s radar since 2007. A link to all of the articles is HERE.  Sadly, it seems the reason I posed for the lack of action in 2007 remains the same. There is no political will to follow through to clean it up. And there are no deep pockets to sue.

Dems Immigration plan

Now that D’s and the media, for the most part, recognize that the Southern border is out of control, they all still resist any attempt of the Trump administration to fix it.

They scoff at President Trump’s invites to Democrats to meet and fix it. Meanwhile, record number of illegals make their way here to get on the gravy train. The incentives that the current immigration laws provide them.

Some R’s accuse the Democrats as not having a plan to deal with the crisis on the border. It should be obvious by now that they actually do have a plan. Democrats’ plan is to do nothing. They’re seeing undocumented democrats. The rest of America and Americans be damned.
