Holder Advocating Against Blacks

Proving that Eric Holder is politicizing the Zimmerman case, he is fomenting opposition to Florida’s “stand your ground” law, which was not even part of the Zimmerman case, and claiming that it is making Florida more dangerous. Liar liar, pants on fire. Since Florida’s stand your ground law, violent crimes in the state fell by 23 percent. It is not getting worse like Holder would have you believe. And you know what else? Blacks (or “his people” as he calls them) benefit more, disproportionately more, than whites in Florida from the stand your ground law.

Black Floridians have made about a third of the state’s total “Stand Your Ground” claims in homicide cases, a rate nearly double the black percentage of Florida’s population. The majority of those claims have been successful, a success rate that exceeds that for Florida whites.

Nonetheless, prominent African Americans including Holder and “Ebony and Ivory” singer Stevie Wonder, who has vowed not to perform in the Sunshine State until the law is revoked, have made “Stand Your Ground” a central part of the Trayvon Martin controversy.

So not only is his version of justice not blind, he is advocating the revoking of the basic human right of self-defense from the very people who are benefiting the most from it, for purely political purposes. This clown must go.

Language Adjustment From Zimmerman Trial

Well, it’s official. The meme has been cast in the media and by the administration. Self-defense is now called gun violence. And a belligerent teenager quick to go to fisticuffs is an innocent child out for a walk to the corner store. And if you are not Black, and you don’t submit to a beating by a Black, then you’re a racist. And if a trial by jury doesn’t see it that way, they are racists too. And, justice has not been done unless it also includes “social justice” and “racial justice.” In case you haven’t noticed, we are witnessing the creation of the American version of the Taliban and Sharia law. The rule of law does not apply any more, and “justice” is no longer blind. Part of the fundamental change Barack Obama has in mind.

If my memory serves me, it was President Obama himself that claimed that his administration was going to be the first post-racial administration in American history. In fact, he has done his best to exacerbate race relations, exactly as his community organizing past has taught him to do.

One can no longer say that he “missed” a chance to calm the situation down. He hasn’t missed anything. He is doing and allowing all he can to keep racial tension alive and well. It’s politics first for him. The country be damned. And the sooner Americans of all races realize that, the better for the country, and the better for race relations.

It’s Not Incompetence, It’s The “Hidden Hand”

In his first term, the media accepted President Obama’s ducking, hiding, and avoiding leadership from the Oval Office as “leading from behind.” Now, for his second term, it is called the “hidden hand” approach.Hidden-Hand

Looking for leadership, not to mention following through on his promises, the New York Times has a narrative for Obama’s inaction on important issues like immigration, Syria, Obamacare, his post-racial agenda, the economy, and unemployment. (I added the last three).

That is not to say Mr. Obama is uninvolved. In the privacy of the West Wing, away from the cameras, he has made calls to leading figures in the Arab world and has met with advisers trying to influence the crisis. But his low public profile on issues like immigration, Syria and health care underscores a calculated presidential approach that admirers consider nuanced and detractors call passive.

Translation, if you are expecting some leadership from the President, you’re a detractor.

After all, how else would you expect him to get the people’s work done while on the campaign trail, golf course, and vacations? He’s much too busy to sit in the Oval Office to play President.

That the Times has to go back 60 years to find an “example” of the “hidden hand” says how desperate they are to prop up our President. If there were a Republican in The White House, it would be harder to imagine him (or her) using the hidden hand approach than it would be for the Times to be calling for his resignation for gross incompetence.

Equal Justice Under The Law, What?

There’s a reason that Lady Justice in the Supreme Court wears a blindfold. It signifies that justice is blind to influences outside the law. The whining over “social justice” and “racial justice” are political buzz words that cause harm to the justice system.

The not so unintended consequence of bellyaching for social justice and racial justice also divides the people into “victims” and not victims. Victims that a particular political party will tend to exploit, at the expense of justice, for their own political gain. There is no place in a justice system based on the rule of law for social justice, racial justice, or politics. There is only one justice system and it applies equally to everyone. Period.

Black Man Explains Anger Over Zimmerman Verdict

“As soon as these monkeys can blame a murder on a White person, oh here they come!”

Nothing Racial About Owning A Gun

President Obama today tries to tie the death of Trayvon Martin to gun violence. Why is it that having and using a gun in self-defense is perceived as something racial? Does he understand that legally having a concealed weapon can save a the life of a Black man too? Concealed carry permits are issued regardless of race. It’s an easy four-step process. But depending on where you live, steps one and two may be more difficult.

  1. Live to be 21.
  2. Have no criminal record.
  3. Have no drug addictions or mental illness.
  4. Live in a concealed carry or open carry state.

Zimmerman Verdict, Lesson To Be Learned

Some in the media are looking for a monumental lesson to be learned by the ‘not guilty’ verdict in the Martin/Zimmerman trial. Suggesting systemic failures in the justice system on race. But for the introduction of politics, from the President on down, the trial would not have happened. The original investigation had it right. It was a case of self-defense. But could-a, would-a, should-a doesn’t get us to the lesson, the takeaway from the entire incident.

The real lesson is much simpler than exacerbating racial tension, perpetuating the race industry. It’s about exercising a little self-control, being civil to one another.

Profiling is not an excuse for breaking the law. Profiling is a natural behavior. For a person, like Zimmerman, to be looking out for bad guys that had been breaking into homes in his neighborhood, coming upon Martin “looked” to him to be someone to watch. Nothing illegal about watching someone. Martin did a little profiling of his own as well. He thought, and said, that Zimmerman was a creepy-ass cracker. A natural reaction perhaps from someone who lives in the hood in Miami Gardens.

The lesson to be learned is that if some asks you “what are you doing here?”, you might respond in a civil, non-violent way. For example, “just going home” or “not that it’s any of your business, but I’m going home,” or just ignore him and continue walking home. Responding in an un-civil manner, like with your fists, could end up costing your life.

That’s the message community leaders and politicians should be getting, and making, from this unfortunate incident.

Obama’s Racially Divisive Administration

If recent history is a lesson, and it ought to be, you can count on one thing from our community-organizer-turned-President. And that is, whatever he says about important issues, you better believe his true place, and desired result, is the opposite. With one, and only one exception.

Beginning with his coming out at the Democratic National Convention keynote speech in 2004, he painted himself as someone who even a Republican could embrace. But it was all false. All for show.

Tonight, we gather to affirm the greatness of our nation, not because of the height of our skyscrapers, or the power of our military, or the size of our economy. Our pride is based on a very simple premise, summed up in a declaration made over two hundred years ago, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. That they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. That among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

That is the true genius of America, a faith in the simple dreams of its people, the insistence on small miracles. That we can tuck in our children at night and know they are fed and clothed and safe from harm. That we can say what we think, write what we think, without hearing a sudden knock on the door. That we can have an idea and start our own business without paying a bribe or hiring somebody’s son. That we can participate in the political process without fear of retribution, and that our votes will be counted — or at least, most of the time.

.

The people I meet in small towns and big cities, in diners and office parks, they don’t expect government to solve all their problems. They know they have to work hard to get ahead and they want to. Go into the collar counties around Chicago, and people will tell you they don’t want their tax money wasted by a welfare agency or the Pentagon.

When it comes to Race Relations. This President bragged that his administration was going to be the first post-racial administration. At every turn, President Obama has not only sat on his hands when he could have helped, but he, and sometimes his Attorney General Eric Holder, have been active in festering a racial divide. Preamble to the beer summit, New Black Panther voter intimidation in Philadelphia, the personal destruction of Paula Deen, the stirring up of tension in the Martin / Zimmerman incident ultimately leading to Zimmerman being over-charged when in fact, no charges were called for. And now, same case, sitting on his behind leading from behind with the media eagerly anticipating racial unrest if/when Zimmerman gets acquitted.

This is just his racial deception. Pick any other topic from foreign policy, education, health care, THE ECONOMY, JOBS, and you will also see the results are 180 degrees from his promises.

Which brings me to the one exception to his promises, the one he has steadfastly kept. That is, to fundamentally transform this great country. That, he has done.

Nuclear proliferation gone wild, terrorism and terrorists spreading around the world (Africa, Middle East, “the right war” in Afghanistan), Pakistan, a nationalized health care system that is still leaving over 30 million people without health care, more expensive health care premiums, never before government levied fines for not buying health care, high fuel and energy prices and going higher, record food stamps, nearly a third of the entire population getting some government help, record long-term unemployment, smallest worker participation rate since Jimmy Carter. And, none of it has to do with his skin color. It has to do with his political color.

It is time for the coward to come off of the golf course, off from vacation, long enough to address the public, today. And tell the American people, especially those Black Americans who are already getting restless, that whatever the verdict in the Zimmerman show trial turns out to be, that he expects everyone to respect the decision and, that anyone breaking the law or rioting because they don’t agree with the verdict, will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. White, Black, and everywhere in between. And he should address the race industry specifically, the Jesse Sharptons, the New Black Panthers, the Farrakhans of the world, that he and his Justice Department expect them to change their tune and preach the same message to their activist followers.

And just one last thing. That we can believe him this time.

If he doesn’t use his bully pulpit to do that, then he will have shown ‘his true colors,’ and I don’t mean skin color, to all of America.

Unreported Scandal Of The Day, Zimmerman/Martin

I’ll bet you a cheesesteak that you haven’t before heard of the Community Relations Service within the Department of Justice. Not in the American media establishment anyway. That would be President Obama’s and Eric Holder’s Department of Justice. What a misnomer for a department’s name.

According to their Mission Statement . . .

The Community Relations Service is the Department’s “peacemaker” for community conflicts and tensions arising from differences of race, color, and national origin. Created by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, CRS is the only Federal agency dedicated to assist State and local units of government, private and public organizations, and community groups with preventing and resolving racial and ethnic tensions, incidents, and civil disorders, and in restoring racial stability and harmony.

. . .   CRS does not take sides among disputing parties and, in promoting the principles and ideals of non-discrimination, applies skills that allow parties to come to their own agreement. In performing this mission, CRS deploys highly skilled professional conciliators, who are able to assist people of diverse backgrounds.

zimmerman_martin_2Come to find out that the CRS spent taxpayer’s money and other resources to add fuel to the fire over Zimmerman not being charged in the clear self-defense shooting of a guy who beat on him. The campaign the DOJ participated in, along with their buds at the SEIU, stoked racial tensions and, after a period of time, ended in the Sheriff being fired over it, and Zimmerman being charged with murder.

Seems to me they chose sides, and did the same community organizing agitation that is trademark for this administration. There is no justice in Obama’s Department of Justice.

Buffet’s Railroad, Or XL Pipeline

Check out this sanitized headline. Can’t CNN bring themselves to use “crude oil” instead of  “flammable liquid?”

Train carrying flammable liquid derails, bursts into flames in Canada

(CNN) — A train pulling over 70 tankers of crude oil derailed and burst into flames in Canada early Saturday near the U.S. border.

The crude was being shipped to Maine in the United States. Why the omission in the headline? Please, let’s not call attention to the risk involved in moving crude oil via Warren Buffet’s railroad instead of a pipeline.
