Trump Nukes Media

The way the media is reacting to Pres-elect Trump’s reaction of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s stated goal for the coming year is something that could qualify for the M.R.I.O.T.D. award. Putin said he wants to make it a chief military objective to strengthen Russia’s nuclear capabilities.

So when Trump Tweets . . .

. . . he is basically stating his peace through strength agenda and rebuilding of the military that he’s been talking about for the last year and a half.

The media doesn’t know how to deal with someone who pretty much is his own media and speaks directly to the people, by-passing them and their bias. This has the media and jumping up and down with accusing Trump of causing “a sharp shift in U.S. national security policy. President Barack Obama has made nuclear nonproliferation a centerpiece of his agenda.” There’s the award-winning statement. Most ridiculous because it was President Obama who sanctioned real nuclear proliferation. Not only that, but for the world’s biggest State sponsor of terrorism, Iran. Not to mention the nutjob in North Korea who is already threatening to lob a nuke our way.

To the media, nuclear nonproliferation doesn’t mean not spawning nuclear capabilities to other countries. To them, and Obama, it means what we should let our own capabilities rot on the vine. There’s no outrage for the handing nuclear capabilities to Iran, with Russia’s support by the way. There’s no outrage at Putin’s goal to strengthen their nuclear capabilities, including developing a way to get past defensive shields.

What Trump did was call out Putin in terms of, you really don’t want to go there. But if you do, we’ll beat you just like the last time. The last time is when President Reagan hastened the end of the Soviet Union when they couldn’t keep up with the U.S. nuclear and defense posture. It drove them to bankruptcy. Russia’s economy is not in any shape to compete with what we could do if we wanted to.  It is all predicated on nuclear powers coming to their senses, “until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes.”

The political Left simply can not deal with the notion of peace through strength. The reason to have the best is so we won’t have to use them. The strength is the deterrence. But in their world, they believe that the world would be safer if we were weaker. The media still doesn’t understand why Trump won.

Obama’s Words, Just Words

Literally just days after President Obama demanded that Trump confront Putin when his behavior defies international values & norms,  from Peru, the president says his brief chat with Putin did not include alleged Russian intervention in US election because “that’s behind us.” That’s rich. Everything Russia did, on anything, is behind us.

Maybe it’s because he knew Russia had nothing to do with it in the first place?

Trump On Social Media

Have you noticed the constant drumbeat from the so-called mainstream media (aka fake news sites), continually asking Trump whether he will quit using Twitter now that he will soon be president? CNN’s Chris Cuomo asked Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway. Her reply, “Why do you care?”

Why they care is that they’ve stained their pants on Trump’s win. And, his use of Twitter to communicate directly to the folks renders them, and their bias, essentially neutered.

Surprise! “Deleted E-mails” Turned Over

Remember the Uranium One deal? That’s the one that as Sec. of State, Hillary Clinton paved the way for Russia to buy, and own, a company in the United States, a subsidiary of a Canadian company, that owned 20% of the uranium supply in the United States.

The latest email discovery, from among the 30,000 + emails that were said to be personal and were deleted, and unrecoverable, were turned over to Judicial Watch as part of a FOIA request. They detail the connection between the State Dept, Bill Clinton’s $500,000 speech in Moscow, to a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock, and people associated with Bill Clinton (Frank Rich, who Bill Clinton pardoned on his last day), including the brother of Hillary’s CoS, John Pedesta.

All these people are connected in one way or another to the sale of Uranium One in the United States. And at the same time, Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation.

uranium-one-clinton-foundation

With these emails that Hillary Clinton didn’t want anyone to see, including the FBI, the pay for play, cronyism, and influence peddling from her office is now in black and white.

Crooked Hillary Clinton should step out of the presidential campaign. If the Dept. of Justice doesn’t open up a criminal RICO investigation (which it won’t), then Congress needs to start one of their own.  Democrats need to pick someone else to run against Trump, or  just ask Democrats to go ahead and support Trump.

Sec. Kerry Syrian Failure

In response to 140 Syrians killed by ISIS suicide bombers, Sec. of State John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) is touting what is being called a “provisional agreement” for a ceasefire.

One caveat. It’s not likely to be signed by all parties (Russia, Syria, and the U.S.) and if signed, is even less likely to be enforced.

ISIS isn’t part of this provisional agreement. Makes for a great photo-op though.

IRAN, It’s Deal & No-Deal

To say that this deal with Iran is good because it will prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power with the ability to create and deliver a nuclear bomb is just plain not true. And, to say, like President Obama did, that this deal was made from a position of strength is also not true. Well, unless you put Iran on the “strength” side.

After months of hype over this deal, including the false choice of if not this, the alternative is war, what we got is not a Deal or No Deal. What we got is Deal And No Deal.

Iran gives up nothing. The U.S., U.N., and the E.U. are the ones giving up. And, where the U.S. in concerned, the deal also pokes the eye of Congress. Why wouldn’t Iran sign that “deal?”

First of all, the only sites that are open to inspection are the ones that Iran itself says that it has. Consequently, their list omits all nuclear sites on military bases.

NUCLEAR

A. ENRICHMENT, ENRICHMENT R&D, STOCKPILES

1. Iran’s long term plan includes certain agreed limitations on all uranium enrichment and uranium enrichment-related activities including certain limitations on specific research and development (R&D) activities for the first 8 years, to be followed by gradual evolution, at a reasonable pace, to the next stage of its enrichment activities for exclusively peaceful purposes, as described in Annex I. Iran will abide by its voluntary commitments, as expressed in its own long-term enrichment and enrichment R&D plan to be submitted as part of the initial declaration for the Additional Protocol to Iran’s Safeguards Agreement.

This deal ends all sanctions already in place. Under the heading of

SANCTIONS

18. The UN Security Council resolution endorsing this JCPOA will terminate all provisions of previous UN Security Council resolutions on the Iranian nuclear issue – 1696 (2006), 1737 (2006), 1747 (2007), 1803 (2008), 1835 (2008), 1929 (2010) and 2224 (2015)

19. The EU will terminate all provisions of the EU Regulation, as subsequently amended, implementing all nuclear-related economic and financial sanctions

A “screw you Congress” provision . . .

25. If a law at the state or local level in the United States is preventing the implementation of the sanctions lifting as specified in this JCPOA, the United States will take appropriate steps, taking into account all available authorities, with a view to achieving such implementation.

Here is the NO-DEAL deal.

26. The EU will refrain from re-introducing or re-imposing the sanctions that it has terminated implementing under this JCPOA, without prejudice to the dispute resolution process provided for under this JCPOA. There will be no new nuclear- related UN Security Council sanctions and no new EU nuclear-related sanctions or restrictive measures. The United States will make best efforts in good faith to sustain this JCPOA and to prevent interference with the realisation of the full benefit by Iran of the sanctions lifting specified in Annex II. The U.S. Administration, acting consistent with the respective roles of the President and the Congress, will refrain from re-introducing or re-imposing the sanctions specified in Annex II that it has ceased applying under this JCPOA, without prejudice to the dispute resolution process provided for under this JCPOA. The U.S. Administration, acting consistent with the respective roles of the President and the Congress, will refrain from imposing new nuclear-related sanctions. Iran has stated that it will treat such a re-introduction or re-imposition of the sanctions specified in Annex II, or such an imposition of new nuclear-related sanctions, as grounds to cease performing its commitments under this JCPOA in whole or in part.

And another “screw you Congress” provision . . .

27. The EU and its Member States and the United States, consistent with their respective laws, will refrain from any policy specifically intended to directly and adversely affect the normalisation of trade and economic relations with Iran inconsistent with their commitments not to undermine the successful implementation of this JCPOA.

So when critics of the deal say that the Obama administration is hell bent on having an historic agreement (even a bad one) was for Obama’s legacy, they’re right.

There’s more that is plenty wrong with this deal. Beginning with what happens if Iran is caught cheating. That hasn’t been worked out yet. The full text is below.

Clinton Cash, It’s All In The Family

Sacrificing strategic natural resources in exchange for cash and campaign contributions is not new to the Clintons. Bill helped China, with scarce low-sulfur coal, when he was president. Hillary did it with uranium, helping Russia.

After Bill Clinton’s second run for President, it was learned of a Chinese connection in illegal campaign contributions. Back then, Bill Clinton created a 1.8 million acre monument in southern Utah. On its face, an innocuous move, making environmentalists (also contributors) happy. Everybody feels good about a new park. What wasn’t mentioned was the coal reserves located in that 1.8 million acres.

The effect of creating that ‘monument’ was to take our country’s largest deposit of low-sulphur coal off of the market and out of bounds from mining. Now a quick mineralogical lesson. There are only two known low-sulphur coal reserves in the world, one of which is under this land in Utah that was blocked off by Clinton and the other of which is in China. We then see the Rhiady family, acting as intermediaries between Clinton and the Chinese government, which was making illegal donations to the Clinton campaign.

How Russia Views Ferguson

Obviously taking the line of the race hustlers. Besides, undermining the country, creating crisis, and fundamentally changing America is Obama’s goal. The burning and looting going on now are on the hands of President Barack Obama and AG Eric Holder.

MOSCOW (AP) — The violent protests in Ferguson, Missouri, reflect simmering U.S. tensions over racial discrimination that could undermine the country’s stability, a senior Russian diplomat said Tuesday.

Iran Wins Another Round With Delay

Ten years and counting. Learning from recent history, when it comes to their nuclear program, Iran knows that this administration is all bark and no bite. The deadline for compliance has come and gone. The solution? Instead of shutting down centrifuges, they have six more months of full-steam ahead development and production. Oh, and the monthly dole-outs of $700 million in frozen funds that began under the temporary nuclear deal agreed on late last year that led to the present talks, continue.

So How’s It Going?

Iraq is falling to pieces, again. ISIS and al-Qaeda are growing. Beheadings have become common and, a new normal. Russia is occupying. The Commander-in-Chief cuts military budgets and personnel while expanding their role. After withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, now that the mid-term elections are over, President Obama is sending the new smaller military back. Third Secretary of Defense in six years resigns. Iran continues to ignore the world in rolling back their nuclear weapons program.  China is eating our lunch. No one wants to eat Michelle Obama’s lunch. Not her lunch, the lunch she wants your kids to eat. The economy on Main St. is treading water. Long-term unemployment is growing. Average family income is falling. The “no-energy” energy policy is increasing energy cost. The Affordable Care Act fraud exposed. And cities are burning.
