US Intelligence Report

So the best the intelligence community can come up with is that Russia’s media, like RT, tried to influence the American people against Hillary, to try to influence voters to pick her opponent.

And, didn’t we just experience an onslaught of American media aligned against one candidate, for another? Like, against Trump and for Hillary? Thought so.

Am thinking, wasn’t the Obama administration’s overt attempt to unseat Netanyahu in his re-election campaign much worse?

Bottom line, sore losers in search of an excuse for losing. Twice. Refusing to accept responsibility is a sign of immaturity.

North Carolina Affirms Normal

The hoopla surrounding North Carolina’s HB2 (House Bill 2) legislation couldn’t be more confusing to decipher. And as usual, that is by design.

When you hear the way the mainstream media and opponents describe it, you would think that people are being denied ‘rights.’

North Carolina’s Republican-controlled legislature on Wednesday rejected a bid to repeal a state law restricting bathroom access for transgender people, which has drawn months of protests and boycotts by opponents decrying the measure as discriminatory.

The bill basically says that you use the bathroom based on what is between your legs, not what is between your ears. There are no transgender-bathroom1-1024x751“rights” of transgender people (less than 1% of society) to interfere with the rights of “normal” people to expect both privacy and security when using facilities like bathrooms, locker rooms, and common showers. When they were born, they had the same rights as everyone else. And still do.

What we have is a political movement to lower the bar of what is moral and right. There is nothing added for transgender or gender-confused people for them to deal with that they didn’t have 10, 50 or 100 years ago. And there’s no reason to change bathrooms for, or on, the 99% of the rest of society.

To that .3 % of society trying to bully the rest, get therapy or deal with it. And remember, diversity includes everyone.

Inadmissible Aliens Is Settled Law

Trump-Carter-Code-1182This law was written in 1952.  It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president…  Everybody in the establishment in the political class, Republican, Democrat, media, you name it, is all claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional, while it is the law of the land.  And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out.

In November the 1979 United States attorney general had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States, 1979.

A direct quote from the law:

(f)Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

21st Century Noose

It ought to be patently obvious by now, that freedom and liberty are, and have been, under attack. It is under attack by a political class that no longer feels bound by the Constitution. In fact, they spend their time and energy to get around it.

Remember when we had he 1st Amendment?  Where the government protected our right to free speech, not to mention specifically political speech.

Something nefarious is at work here. It’s liberalism’s social justice amendment. It isn’t there. It does not exist. But, you couldn’t tell from what’s been going on lately. PC has become the new reality.

Just look at the progress, and lack thereof, of the civil rights movement. How did the civil rights movement, which began with the Civil War and slavery, and reignited in the 1950’s and 60’s, go from segregation, to integration, only to go back to segregation?

Now we have kids being persecuted in school for standing up for their religious  or political beliefs. Now we have students whining about someone hurting their feelings, and they want the administration to “protect” them. Protect them from reality. They are demanding a #SafeSpace. And some want it to be Black-only. Martin Luther King Jr. must be turning over in his grave on that one.

Left unchecked, Political Correctness is becoming the noose of the 21st century. What are you going to do about it? Slip it on, or demand your rights (not feelings) be protected.

Rally? What Rally?

There was supposed to be a ‘raise the minimum wage’ rally downtown last evening. Organized by a local labor union.

I couldn’t be there. Had to work. But I wanted to see a fat protester holding up a sign whining about having to work for a ‘starving wage.’ (found a pic on google)

So it was with eager anticipation to check the local newspaper this morning to see what happened. Nothing there. Zip, zero, nada. Nothing in the local alternative media either. Feeling a mild case of Schadenfreude here.

UPDATE: 11/11/2015 Thanks to one of the participant’s feedback, the “rally” wasn’t really a rally. I was mistaken. Instead of a rally, it was a “forum” held somewhere in town. Probably a union hall somewhere. Regardless, there was no rally. And no news coverage of the forum either. I mean really, who thinks labor unions would want the folks to know why they are supporting raising the minimum wage, for non-union workers?

Boycott Indiana?

So what’s really going on here? A toxic combination of anti-Christian bigotry and sexual revolution radicalism. It is simply uninformed and bigoted to believe that Christians are somehow lurking in the shadows, ready to deny food, shelter, and basic services to their gay fellow citizens — blocked from such vicious actions only by the strong arm of the state.

Feinstein vs CIA

Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA), Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, released a report about intelligence gathering by the CIA of the terrorists held at Club Gitmo and elsewhere. The same interrogation techniques that they had been briefed on and approved of. And had even questioned the CIA whether it was enough to get all the information they felt they needed.

There seems to be general agreement, even from Feinstein herself, that the publication of the information contained in the committee report (assembled exclusively by democrats) will put Americans and our allies at risk.

So why would the committee produce such a report about a program that has not been used in eight years, and made “illegal” five years ago, and release it to the public, knowing that it will put Americans and allies around the world in danger?

First of all, look at the report itself. It is not the result of an investigation as we know it. No one involved was interviewed about it. The report is a compilation of emails and communications allegedly between CIA operatives and others. “Others” including foreigners and allies. It is a process that democrats in the intelligence committee have been working on for a decade. Part of the anti-war anti-Bush administration narrative we are all too familiar with. Another chance to beat a dead horse.

Due to the sensitive nature of those communications, the CIA did its own clandestine investigation of the members of Feinstein’s committee, to see whether the information they received was illegally obtained. After all, protecting national secrets and informants is their job. There’s been no suggestion that the CIA obstructed the committee in what it was doing.

Simply put, Senator Feinstein is exacting 40 million dollars worth of political revenge on the CIA for spying on her computers. And is also willing to put Americans and our allies at risk to do it. Nothing more than political masturbation at the country’s expense.

What Delusion Looks Like, Ed Shultz, Ring of Fire

Ed Shultz: “The radio stations liberals had as a breeding ground are now home to the conservative talkers trying to harvest a dollar in fast falling format.”

Fast falling format? Ed Shultz must be thinking about Air America Radio. Conservative talkers, according to Sergeant Shultz, are “occupiers.” And, they don’t debate the issues, they “vilify thoughts.”

More of Eddie’s delusion . . .

The public has figured out these occupiers in front of the microphone do not entertain. They don’t do news. They
only vilify thoughts opposite of their own.

Poor Eddie, still making excuses why liberal talk radio has failed in the talk-radio marketplace.

Merck Reports Record 2Q

Time for a little good news from an industry that is continuously under attack from the slip-and-fall lawyer industry.

Merck & Co. (MRK) on Tuesday reported earnings that more than doubled in its second quarter, and topped analysts’ expectations.

  • Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 85 cents per share.
  • Merck shares have increased $7.92, or 16 percent, to $57.97 since the beginning of the year.
  • The stock has climbed $9.63, or 20 percent, in the last 12 months.

What comes next is the attacks from the anti-capitalist Progressives, accusing Merck of evil doings. What they won’t say is that Merck merely followed the IRS tax code.

Day four of jury deliberations starts today in the defamation case of Jesse (The Pussy) Ventura against the wife, and estate of, the late Chris Kyle.
