Here’s why trainloads of illegals are coming to America in such large numbers. It’s not only from news reports in Central American countries saying that if you can get the United States that you won’t be sent back, but welcomed, given housing, food stamps, clothing, health care, and transportation within the U.S..
It’s because of the agreement that the Presidents of Guatemala and Mexico just signed and announced. It’s called “The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage” program. News of it is also dutifully ignored by the mainstream media. The Examiner.com broke it, but it’s basically a rewrite of a Spanish language report from El Universal . . .
“On Monday, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina held a joint press conference in Playas de Catazaja, Mexico, to officially announce an agreement to make it easier for those making the illegal journey to the United States from Central America, to cross into Mexico.”
Coyote status has escalated to the presidents of Mexico and Guatemala, egged on by the rest of Central America. Mexico will escort the illegals as long as they don’t stay in Mexico, but go through Mexico into the United States. Isn’t that special?
There’s more. The Interior Minister, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, announced that the Government of Mexico will regulate the rail system known as “La Bestia” (The Beast) as part of the migration program on the southern border to protect the lives of those who use this transport in their attempt to reach the United States.
And, their illegal cargo is welcomed by the United States’ official Coyote, President Obama, and the departments in the Executive Branch executing the plan to fundamentally change America; DHS, ICE, and the DOJ.
Some things never change. Like Obama’s determination to not protect our borders and the media’s propensity to ignore it.
It’s not like we didn’t see this coming more than two years ago.
That news delivery has changed dramatically over the course of the last 15 years is obvious. We’ve seen print media like your daily newspaper shrink or go away, due in part to the electronic delivery that consumers of news seem to prefer. But there’s still news.
[R]ecent dips as a natural reaction to negative publicity about the news industry. Rosenstiel noted that media outlets have extensively documented the crises of journalism employment for years, causing high school students to wonder whether studying the profession will result in a steady career.

When journalism and the way it is taught morphed from being an objective, aggressive, media watchdog (that dog died) to being a fraternity hell-bent on “doing” good, that was the beginning of the end of journalism as it used to be. This accounts for all the “negative publicity” about the news industry.
I’ve not attended a journalism school. So I don’t know how they teach their craft. I do know what people say about why they want to be a journalist. And it is always they “want to make a difference.” This causes a natural conflict for journalism schools. Doing your job, or making a difference?
In a sense, journalism schools have shot themselves in the foot. Maybe even in the head.

I’m bracing myself for the onslaught of media coverage hounding the President over not going to see first-hand, the latest ‘crisis’ to visit the South. Somehow, I think I’m wasting my time expecting any media pushback upon their president.
Instead, what we get is White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest’s statement. OK, so let’s move on. He’s on it. Responding to a question about why PRESBO won’t personally visit the facilities where the illegal children are being stored, Earnest said . . .
Obama has all the information that he needs from his senior advisors. [T]here are a whole range of senior officials in this administration over the course of the last three or four weeks who have spent a lot of time in the southwest border,” he said. “The President has a very good sense of what’s happening on the border,” Earnest said. “He’s getting regular updates from his officials who have traveled to that region.”
Any other president would be there. Can you imagine a response like that from, oh say, the Bush White House after Katrina?
But President Obama will be in the region. Texas governor Perry asked him to see the problems they are dealing with first-hand. But no. Why wouldn’t he want to go? Maybe he is afraid of bringing a drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis back to his family?

There are no arrest powers in the HIPPA legislation. This is what happens when you have a president who believes that the Constitution and the three equal branches of government are an impediment to his mission. He’ll have open borders, welcome undocumented democrats, even if it means spreading disease all over the country.
A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say.
“There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested,” a psychiatric counselor told me. “We were under orders not to say anything.”
The sources said workers were guarded by a security force from the Baptist Family & Children’s Services, which the Department of Health and Human Services hired to run the Lackland Camp.
What is pathetic about this administration is that the Congress has abdicated its authority to put the brakes on him. Obama makes no bones about it, he says he’ll do what he wants without congress. His arrogant and condescending attitude is, “sue me, I’ll do what I want.”
Our founding fathers have to be rolling over in their graves. Not only for the tyrannical president, the a congress that is letting this happen, and the “free press” that is deaf, dumb, and blind to all the lawlessness.

Hearken back to last year when the roll-out of the HealthCare.Gov website fell flat on its face from day one. There was so much of the $600 million website that was not completed. Millions more were spent to ‘fix’ the problems. Obama got a crack team on it.
Well guess what? According to the HHS Inspector General’s office, the system still lacks the ability to verify whether applicants are eligible.
The federal health exchange was unable to resolve 2.6 million out of 2.9 million data inconsistencies on insurance applications through December 2013 because the eligibility system didn’t work, according to one of two inspector general reports released Tuesday.

The network radio news swerved from the numbers to generalities from 8am to Noon. Starting with pull quotes of “The federal health exchange was unable to resolve 2.6 million out of 2.9 million data inconsistencies on insurance applications.” Inconsistencies like verifying identity and citizenship. And ending with “the Office of Inspector General recommends that HHS take action to improve internal controls.”
Words not mentioned in any news broadcast were “Obamacare,” the “Affordable Care Act,” “HealthCare.Gov,” President Obama, or Kathleen Sibelius.

Ever since May of his first term, President Obama has been saying that he ‘will not rest‘ until every person that wants a job gets a job. Or health insurance, or this, or that. His SOTU speeches are the same every year. He says we need more “investments” (that means spending) in roads, bridges, infrastructure, education. And after $7 Trillion in new debt for it, you’ll hear it again in his weekly address below. Nothing gets fixed, and the only growth is in the size of government.

Actually, Mr. President. GDP contracted by 2.9% in the first quarter of 2014. The shrinking economy is the worst performance for five years. And as usual, the regime is blaming the weather. Never their policies.
This president hasn’t a clue how to grow the economy, and the numbers bear that out. Not only do the numbers bear that out, but his understanding of how an economy grows puts real-world economics and free-market capitalism on its head. He says . . .
[W]e know from our history that our economy doesn’t grow from the top-down, it grows from the middle-out.
No, we don’t know that. No economist will support that premise. And that’s not our history. But his rhetoric is swallowed hook, line, and sinker by the media and his low information constituents. He says he’s for working people, women, minorities. He says he wants to give everyone a raise. As though it is government that generates wealth. Government only generates power. And the more it has, the less you have. In every piece of bait the president hands out, whether he actually does or not, there’s a hook.
The truth is, Obama’s economic policies are hurting the people who elected him more than any other demographic.
President Obama was re-elected with 51% of the vote. Five demographic groups were crucial to his victory: young voters, single women, those with only a high-school diploma or less, blacks and Hispanics. He cleaned up with 60% of the youth vote, 67% of single women, 93% of blacks, 71% of Hispanics, and 64% of those without a high-school diploma, according to exit polls.

To put that into dollar terms, in the four years between the time the Obama recovery began in June 2009 and June of this year, median black household income fell by just over $4,000, Hispanic households lost $2,000 and female-headed households lost $2,300.
The middle class is getting poorer. While the minimum wage remained steady, the median family income has fallen every year since Obama’s “recovery” began.
With all this in mind, listen how the community organizer blames everyone but himself for his failures, and lies about his successes.
The Obama administration just stole private property in the name of political correctness. Laws are meant to protect private property. And the President is supposed to support and enforce them. This administration, and anyone who believes that this action is good, is an enemy of the state and an enemy of the Constitution.
After a protracted debate regarding the ostensible insensitivity of the team’s name, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office decided this week to strike down the Washington Redskins’ trademark claim.
Because the news media won’t tell you, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is not part of the Judicial branch of government. It’s not part of the Legislative branch of government. It is part of the Executive branch of government. And who is the head of that? President Barack Hussein Obama, mmm mmm mmm, the Marxist who took an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
This is but another example of how he flips the bird to you, to the Constitution, and to Congress. And idiots like Harry Reid are just fine with it. They are the enemy from within. Obama, as President, is the most dangerous man in America right now. The Constitution was written to protect against a President like him. Our job as citizens is even harder now, because he has a Congress full of accomplices.
If your elected representatives are OK with this illegal usurpation of power by the Executive branch, then you need to vote them out. PERIOD!

All of which means that this capture now, after two years of doing nothing, with President Obama’s approval ratings lower than ever, lower than Bush’s low, was nothing but politically motivated.
It also leaves open the question whether Attorney General Eric Holder will represent the United States or Khattala.
Bringing Club Gitmo detainees to trial in New York is just a continuance of Eric Holder’s defense (as opposed to prosecution) of these enemy combatants. Defending them is what he did at his New York law firm Covington & Burling.
Here’s the plea deal. He has to write “I will not kill infidels” 500 times on the blackboard, and he has to say that he was inspired by a video made by a guy who is still in prison, before he is released and returned to the battlefield in Afghanistan.
