Chicago 19, Navy Yard 13, Pensacola 1

Last night wrought 1 dead and 18 wounded in two incidents in Chicago last night. According to an FBI report on crime, Chicago is branded the Murder Capital of America. A witness of the shooting in the Chicago park told a reporter, “They’ve been coming round here looking for people to shoot every night, just gang-banging stuff. It’s what they do.”

From another witness, in the CBS video . . .

They was a lot of shots like, boom boom boom boom boom boom boom. Man like like, I say like nine some people got hit. A little kid got hit in the face man. I don’t know if he’s still alie. I don’t know what’s his condition.

A “young girl” was victim of another shooting in Pensacola last night. The Pensacola News Journal reports . . .

“There was an ongoing feud on this street between individuals,” he said. “According to the family, she was not from the neighborhood.”

The Navy Yard shooting in Washington got wall to wall news coverage from a crazy person with a gun. But when it comes down to the violent crime culture? Not so much.

The Administration’s Firewalls

No doubt, from the perspective of a community organizer, surrounding yourself with like-minded people is imperative when reaching goals are paramount to b-todd-jonesenforcing law. Yesterday, it was the new and unqualified Director of  ICE John Sandweg. Today, it’s B. Todd Jones, the new Director for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

Before taking over for Melson in a DOJ push to appear to have done “something,” Jones was the chairman of the attorney general’s Advisory Committee. He sat in on Fast and Furious calls as early as October 26, 2009 — a meeting Melson also attended.

As a potential co-conspirator in Attorney General Eric Holder’s Fast and Furious gun-running program, Mr. Jones has a vested interest in keeping 90,000 documents on the Fast and Furious plot hidden from congressional investigators.

See, it’s not about following the law, or transparency. And there won’t be any ‘smoking gun’ documents that point to a coverup. That is inbred by the appointments themselves.

Today Was ‘Take A Lib To The Range Day’

Had one of those rare moments when all the planets and moons were in alignment (to the right of course) and both my liberal buddy Derek and I were available to hit the range and do some shooting. I affectionately called it “Take a Lib to the Range Day.”

He had shot only once when he was a kid and I hadn’t been to the range in months. We both had a good time. Although we shot a few of my weapons, I only have some pics of Derek with my MAC-10. Was too busy shooting to take pics.

Julian Bond, You’re No Martin Luther King Jr.

If Dr. King were alive today, he no doubt would still be a Republican and would be called an Uncle Tom or similar racial slur by those who have bastardized his 2013_march_on_washingtonspeech and ideology from 50 years ago. Right now he’s rolling over in his grave.

At the Washington Mall the other day, Julian Bond (past president of the NAACP) held up Trayvon Martin as a martyr. No, he’s not a martyr Mr Bond. He’s a punk thug who died being one.

Trayvon’s Law: Beating up on someone could get you killed. Regardless if you are in a concealed carry state like Florida.

Missouri Gives Feds The Finger Over Gun Control

Probably goes nowhere when it gets to the Supreme Court. If it gets that far. But I like their spunk.obama_holder

The legislation would make it a misdemeanor for federal agents to attempt to enforce any federal gun regulations that “infringe on the people’s right to keep and bear arms.” The same criminal charges would apply to journalists who publish any identifying information about gun owners. The charge would be punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

“Could Have Been Me 35 Years Ago”

Two can play that game Mr. President.

If you were Trayvon 35 years ago, it would have spared the country from . . .

  • record unemployment
  • a stagnant economy
  • high energy prices
  • high food prices
  • union bailouts
  • a move towards socialism
  • Obamacare
  • the dilution of “equal justice under the law” with your inclination toward “social justice” and “racial justice”
  • your lawless administration that selectively enforces laws, especially current immigration laws
  • your Attorney General ignoring voting rights laws (New Black Panthers in Philadelphia)
  • your dozens of unaccountable Czars
  • using the Federal Govt. and its agencies to oppress (and attack, George Zimmerman) the citizens
  • abuse of voting and first amendment rights (IRS)
  • attacks on second amendment rights
  • racial tensions fueled by you not seen since the 60’s.
  • Did I mention voting rights abuse?

Holder Advocating Against Blacks

Proving that Eric Holder is politicizing the Zimmerman case, he is fomenting opposition to Florida’s “stand your ground” law, which was not even part of the Zimmerman case, and claiming that it is making Florida more dangerous. Liar liar, pants on fire. Since Florida’s stand your ground law, violent crimes in the state fell by 23 percent. It is not getting worse like Holder would have you believe. And you know what else? Blacks (or “his people” as he calls them) benefit more, disproportionately more, than whites in Florida from the stand your ground law.

Black Floridians have made about a third of the state’s total “Stand Your Ground” claims in homicide cases, a rate nearly double the black percentage of Florida’s population. The majority of those claims have been successful, a success rate that exceeds that for Florida whites.

Nonetheless, prominent African Americans including Holder and “Ebony and Ivory” singer Stevie Wonder, who has vowed not to perform in the Sunshine State until the law is revoked, have made “Stand Your Ground” a central part of the Trayvon Martin controversy.

So not only is his version of justice not blind, he is advocating the revoking of the basic human right of self-defense from the very people who are benefiting the most from it, for purely political purposes. This clown must go.

Language Adjustment From Zimmerman Trial

Well, it’s official. The meme has been cast in the media and by the administration. Self-defense is now called gun violence. And a belligerent teenager quick to go to fisticuffs is an innocent child out for a walk to the corner store. And if you are not Black, and you don’t submit to a beating by a Black, then you’re a racist. And if a trial by jury doesn’t see it that way, they are racists too. And, justice has not been done unless it also includes “social justice” and “racial justice.” In case you haven’t noticed, we are witnessing the creation of the American version of the Taliban and Sharia law. The rule of law does not apply any more, and “justice” is no longer blind. Part of the fundamental change Barack Obama has in mind.

If my memory serves me, it was President Obama himself that claimed that his administration was going to be the first post-racial administration in American history. In fact, he has done his best to exacerbate race relations, exactly as his community organizing past has taught him to do.

One can no longer say that he “missed” a chance to calm the situation down. He hasn’t missed anything. He is doing and allowing all he can to keep racial tension alive and well. It’s politics first for him. The country be damned. And the sooner Americans of all races realize that, the better for the country, and the better for race relations.

Nothing Racial About Owning A Gun

President Obama today tries to tie the death of Trayvon Martin to gun violence. Why is it that having and using a gun in self-defense is perceived as something racial? Does he understand that legally having a concealed weapon can save a the life of a Black man too? Concealed carry permits are issued regardless of race. It’s an easy four-step process. But depending on where you live, steps one and two may be more difficult.

  1. Live to be 21.
  2. Have no criminal record.
  3. Have no drug addictions or mental illness.
  4. Live in a concealed carry or open carry state.
