Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Shultz (D-FL) gets bitch slapped by Rep. Allen West (R-FL). Oh thank you Rep. West. Thank you. Of course we’re talking metaphorically now.
Speaking on the House Floor, among other things to do with the Cut-Cap-Balance Act, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz said this about Allen West. West had left the chamber and was not present when Wasserman spoke.
“The gentleman from Florida who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries. Unbelievable from a member from South Florida.”
West responded in an email.

If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!

No doubt she’s got the mouth of a champion. But when all that comes out of it is rote Liberal demagoguery, its value is diminished.
What’s new is that West isn’t going to take it when it is aimed at him. Where he is concerned, going back to his campaign office, he has the standing. The big difference is that he is speaking from facts where she is speaking from fear and demagoguery.
I don’t see it as him whining. I see it as standing up to it, and her. Any inclination to ‘stop’ defending yourself is seen as capitulation and allowing her (and the Left) to continue setting the agenda based on fear and intimidation. They still haven’t accepted the shellacking they got in 2010. But fear and intimidation is all they have. Obama and the DNC don’t have a plan. They have ‘words, just words.’

My money is on Ms. Wasserman-Schultz. She’s going to outlast Mr. Hysteria unless he decides to put on his big-boy pants and stop sending emails, the modern equivalent of writing on the men’s room wall.
