Inadmissible Aliens Is Settled Law

Trump-Carter-Code-1182This law was written in 1952.  It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president…  Everybody in the establishment in the political class, Republican, Democrat, media, you name it, is all claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional, while it is the law of the land.  And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out.

In November the 1979 United States attorney general had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States, 1979.

A direct quote from the law:

(f)Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

Leaders: Trump And Cruz

Donald J. Trump managed to bring illegal immigration into public discourse and among all presidential candidates. Right out of the gate. It’s a national discussion we absolutely must have.

Now, Trump is leading the timid and weak again when it comes to asylum seekers, refugees, and immigration from terrorist-infested countries. As insensitive or Politically Incorrect as he sounds, his point is real, serious, and, real serious.

Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee says the enemy’s intent is to infiltrate the refugee populations. The enemy has announced that it seeks to infiltrate the refugee population. The head of the FBI says there is no good data with which to vet the refugee population.

People from both parties from the President on down continue to shift the emphasis away from the real enemy (radical Islam and Sharia Law) and onto Donald Trump, saying that what Trump proposed is UN-constitutional. It is not.

The religion clause pertains to public officials. This has nothing to do with public officials.

The equal protection clause has to do with the states. This has nothing to do with states.

The 1st Amendment is not extra-territorial. You don’t project it overseas.

Trump does not live in the PC world. He lives in Realville. And when an enemy declares war on you, ignoring the threat and their actions is not a winning strategy.

Until all those who are quick to criticize Trump and call for him to drop out of the race get serious about our national security, you can rely on the fact that they don’t have a solution to this problem. Instead, they want to import them. So far, only Ted Cruz and Donald Trump do.

What Homeland Security?

You can’t convince me that the GOP is the party of national security. That was the old GOP. Not after this common sense piece of legislation was voted down 10-89 in the Senate last Thursday.

Only 10 senators voted YES to a bill, sponsored by presidential candidate Rand Paul (R-KY) dubbed the “Stop Extremists Coming Under Refugee Entry (SECURE) Act, that would temporarily ban refugees from 32 Muslim-majority countries, as well as the Palestinian territories and North Korea, from entering the US. It was attached as an amendment to the Obamacare funding bill.

The amendment wasn’t based on a religious test, it was based on geography. The moratorium on accepting refugees from the “high-risk countries” listed in the bill would end once the Department of Homeland Security demonstrates compliance with six stipulations intended to weed out potential terrorists posing as refugees.

These are the countries and territories covered in the amendment, also known as the SECURE Act.

Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Yemen, The Palestinian Territories.

These are the only YES votes for the amendment. Good for them. They are the only senators that hold national security as a priority. Not one Democrat voted for it.

“A Date Which Will Live in Infamy”: FDR Asks for a Declaration of War

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941, stunned virtually everyone in the United States military. Japan’s carrier-launched bombers found Pearl Harbor totally unprepared. President Franklin Roosevelt quickly addressed Congress to ask for a declaration of war as illustrated in this audio excerpt. Although he never mentioned Europe or the fact that Germany had by then declared war on the United States, the Pearl Harbor attack allowed him to begin the larger intervention in the European war he had long wanted.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt: Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation, and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific. Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our secretary of state a formal reply to a recent American message. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or armed attack.

It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.

The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.

Yesterday the Japanese government also launched as attack against Malaya.

Last night Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.

Last night Japanese forces attacked Guam.

Last night Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.

Last night Japanese forces attacked Wake Island.

And this morning the Japanese attacked Midway Island.

Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

As commander in chief of the Army and Navy I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us. . .

And everyone thought that we would never see an attack on U.S. soil again. And until September 11, 2012, everyone thought we would always run to the aid of Americans under attack.

Terrorist Watch List Sham

Below is the background to the political propaganda surrounding the media meme that Republicans don’t have a problem with people on the terrorist watch list buying guns. I’m sure you’ve heard it already. But, like everything that comes out of this administration, they are not telling “the rest of the story.” (Thank you Paul Harvey.)

What follows, is what Democrats and the head carnival barker, Barack O, have up their sleeve to circumvent the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. It has noting to do with terrorists. If it did, they wouldn’t be wanting to import them, or in the case of GITMO, free them.

Suffice it to say, with the proposed “common sense” gun safety legislation, any of the folks at the Tea Party rally in Washington (above picture) could be quietly and secretly be put on that list. And they wouldn’t know it until they tried to buy a weapon. Or to put it another way, they wouldn’t know it until they tried to exercise their 2nd Amendment Right.

endofstory

media hack daily newsAs you hear the Democrats and the media (my apologies for being redundant) complaining about how the evil Republicans “refuse to prevent gun sales to people on the terrorist watch list”, you must know the rest of the story that they are not telling.

The process by which someone gets put on the list is classified. The list itself is classified. There is no appeal process to get your name removed (if you even know you are on it at all).

Do you really want a law that allows the federal government to secretly deny Constitutional Rights to anyone it wants without due process of law?

Senator Ted Kennedy was once on the “Do Not Fly List”. It took him six weeks to get his name removed. And he was a sitting U.S. Senator! Now, I could make a convincing argument that Ted Kennedy has done more harm to this country than any terrorist has, but that’s not the point. If he was somehow put on the list and had trouble getting his name removed, how would you get your name removed if you were ever put on that list?

And don’t forget who the Obama Administration stated in a leaked 2009 DHS memo were potential terrorists:

“Rightwing extremists” who “perceive” a “lack of government action on illegal immigration.”

“Rightwing extremists” who “perceive recent gun control legislation as a threat to their right to bear arms.”

“Rightwing extremists” who “make bulk purchases of ammunition.”

“Rightwing extremists” who “bemoan the decline of U.S. stature” and “the loss of U.S. manufacturing capability to China and India.”

“Rightwing extremists” who oppose “gun control efforts.”

“Rightwing extremists” who “stockpile food, ammunition, and weapons.”

“Rightwing extremists” who oppose “government infringement on civil liberties.”

“Rightwing extremists” who oppose abortion.

“Rightwing extremists” who oppose same-sex marriage.

“Returning veterans” with “their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat” who are “disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war.”

In other words ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH BARACK OBAMA IS A POTENTIAL TERRORIST!

So THAT is why all decent Americans should oppose the Democrats’ and the media’s demand for what they call “common sense gun safety legislation”.

21st Century Noose

It ought to be patently obvious by now, that freedom and liberty are, and have been, under attack. It is under attack by a political class that no longer feels bound by the Constitution. In fact, they spend their time and energy to get around it.

Remember when we had he 1st Amendment?  Where the government protected our right to free speech, not to mention specifically political speech.

Something nefarious is at work here. It’s liberalism’s social justice amendment. It isn’t there. It does not exist. But, you couldn’t tell from what’s been going on lately. PC has become the new reality.

Just look at the progress, and lack thereof, of the civil rights movement. How did the civil rights movement, which began with the Civil War and slavery, and reignited in the 1950’s and 60’s, go from segregation, to integration, only to go back to segregation?

Now we have kids being persecuted in school for standing up for their religious  or political beliefs. Now we have students whining about someone hurting their feelings, and they want the administration to “protect” them. Protect them from reality. They are demanding a #SafeSpace. And some want it to be Black-only. Martin Luther King Jr. must be turning over in his grave on that one.

Left unchecked, Political Correctness is becoming the noose of the 21st century. What are you going to do about it? Slip it on, or demand your rights (not feelings) be protected.

Grass Roots Going Red

Did you know that the largest legislative district in Arizona just flipped from blue to red? Of course you didn’t.

Arizona State Senator Carlyle Begay, a Navajo (who also call themselves Diné) whose district includes Navajo and Hopi tribal lands, announced Monday that he is switching to the Republican Party.

With this addition, Republicans now control 18 of 30 seats in the Arizona upper chamber.

The part of President Obama’s legacy that is continually overlooked is the part that shows legislative districts shifting from blue (Democrat) to red (Republican). And it is not in spite of Obama’s push to social justice and socialism, it is because of it.

Republicans And Democrats Lose Louisiana Election

Democrat John Bel Edwards won election on Saturday as the next governor of Louisiana, beating Republican U.S. Senator David Vitter in a runoff election.

Edwards, a pro-life, pro-gun Democrat, will replace term limited Republican Governor Bobby Jindal. Although it is a loss for Republicans, it isn’t a loss for conservative values. In that sense, I’m OK with that. If Vitter was their best choice, or only choice, then the Republicans had it coming.

The election serves as a wake-up call to the DNC and President Obama. And that is, not all Democrats are mind-numbed robots, carrying the water for the Party. The mainstream media certainly won’t make the same observation. Question is, will they even mention that this Democrat won by running like a Republican?

Democrats Make Your Case, Please!

Although I’m not holding my breath, I’m waiting for some Liberal, Progressive,  Democrat, Socialist, Communist, Marxist, or anyone,  to make the case for bringing terrorists into this country among the refugees which, administration and DOD experts, not the elected ones, say will happen.

And also, to make the case about why their help can not happen THERE instead of bringing them HERE, to a country that is predominately Christian (they are predominately Islamic) and that does not share their language or culture. And most likely, if Dearbornistan is any indication, a country that they probably don’t like very much. . . .

Belly up to the counter. Politics are on the menu and Ross is on the grill.
