Great Britain Lost Control

In the U.K., anybody who does not follow and subscribe to the orthodoxy of the left — including open-border immigration, permitting endless streams of militant Islamists into European countries, if you oppose that — you are being categorized as “far right” and can be arrested, according to Great Britain’s laws.

Tommy Robinson not only doesn’t approve of that, he reports on the effects of that, including the trial he was covering that was about sex rings run by these immigrants. 80% of whom are Islamists. And was arrested for it.

The judge put a gag order on Robinson’s arrest AND a gag order on the news media from covering the trials. Nothing like protecting the perps and arresting transparency.

Great Britain has no Constitution or guaranteed right of free speech. There’s a reason the Founding Fathers believed in that basic freedom, not derived from government, but from God.

But it gets worse for Tommy Robinson. Going to prison among the Muslim prisoners will most likely be a death sentence for him. Great Britain has lost control.

Smokable Medical Pot Prevails

Medical Marijuana was approved in Florida by an amendment to the State’s Constitution in 2016. The product can be consumed every way except by smoking the plant itself. That wasn’t the intent of the law, but this is how it has been interpreted, until today, when the law  was found to be unconstitutional.

Voters approved a constitutional amendment in 2016 allowing the use of medical marijuana. The only mention of smoking in the amendment’s language and in an intent document during the 2016 campaign was that the Legislature and local governments could restrict it in public places.

The next stop will be the state’s 1st District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee.

No reason it should not pass muster all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. Gov. Scott should end his opposition to private use.

Two Justice Systems In One

Clapper admits to spying on Trump campaign. It was illegal spying on Americans for political purposes.

Know how you can tell? They didn’t similarly “protect” Hillary’s campaign. And more important, they didn’t warn the Trump campaign about what they were doing. If trying to get the Russians was their game.

The DNC computers were said to have been hacked by Russians. Or was that an inside job?  We’ll never know for sure because the FBI did not take the computers for forensic investigation. The FBI let the DNC, at the DNC’s request, have their computer checked by the tech company they have a relationship with. Isn’t that special?  Bottom line, the government never proved that the Russians hacked the DNC’s computers. Or that they were even hacked. Now there’s no evidence to look at any more.

What’s the difference here? Was the DNC “hack” done by good Russians and the excuse for spying on the Trump campaign, on into his presidency, was looking for bad Russians? Hell no. It’s about taking out Trump, like it has always been.

What’s the same here? We are supposed to take the word of the FBI/DOJ, with no evidence of either.

The Race Race

Remember when there was some hope that, if nothing else, the election of President Obama would at least put a ‘period’ on the ‘Americans are racist’ era? Americans elected the first Black president, with comparatively no experience, over who would have otherwise been the first Woman president, who is White and with a lot more experience.

So what’s this? Last year, Harvard hosted its first ever “black only” graduation ceremony. No word about a “white only” or some other ‘_____ only’ ceremony. It has become an annual event there, and at other colleges.

At the University of West Florida, there is a Black Employee Association. Odd, especially when this is on a state (public) campus, where there are not supposed to be organizations based on race.

Is this a longing for the old days, when there was segregation? Lord I hope not. Kanye West has a great take on it. Has to do with independent thinking.

All this coming from the University crowd, where inclusion was spearheaded and embraced with “Affirmative Action” programs from Washington. Aside from being hypocritical and probably illegal, they are setting “race relations” back 60 years. On purpose.

By 2018, the American people have long accepted integration. I suspect “race relations” are a lot better than the media would like us to believe.  God forbid we can live together without prejudice. That would put the Race Industry out of business, to the success of all those who can think for themselves.

Unfortunately, Civil Rights doesn’t mean what it used to mean. It has become an industry. The Jesse Sharptons in this country don’t have the end of racial discrimination as their goal. Instead, their goal is to keep racial tension going. Why?

Two reasons. The psychology of keeping minorities from leaving the Democrat Plantation by telling them they are victims of those evil racist Republicans. It’s called identity politics, coupled with the soft bigotry of low expectation. This event supplies the touchy-feely ‘pat on the back’ by the Massa.  Kanye, Trump and you know who the victims really are.

The second reason is in the bank. They make a nice one-percenter living on keeping Blacks unsettled. Sick.

No doubt in my mind that the same psychology is at work as in the “Middle East Peace Talks.” They (everyone by Israel) don’t want peace. They want the constant conflict and agitation that “talks” can supply. Which begs the question, how will we know when the Race race is won?

Pretty sure Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be disgusted with what they have done to the ‘civil rights’ he envisioned.

No Iran Deal, And Why

Ha! Trump was excellent.

Naturally, Obama weighed in.

“I believe that the decision to put the JCPOA at risk without any Iranian violation of the deal is a serious mistake.”

He obviously didn’t hear the speech.

I like the part where he laid out the justification for this decision, including the bogus information about Iran’s nuclear assets, that was the basis of the deal. And how that deal made the world less safe.

The deal that 61% of Congress voted against, but was done with a Bob Corker workaround. Around Congress.

Trump is open for a new agreement that would not include nuclear weapons and missiles to deliver them. One that would be fool-proof with real inspection verification. With no areas, including military areas,  off limits to the nuclear inspectors.

He also gave a shout out to the Iranian people.

Finally, I want to deliver a message to the long-suffering people of Iran. The people of America stand with you. It has now been almost 40 years since this dictatorship seized power and took a proud nation hostage. Most of Iran’s 80 million citizens have, sadly, never known an Iran that prospered in peace with its neighborhoods and commanded the admiration of the world. But the future of Iran belongs to its people.

Do you remember when President Obama pledged America’s support for the Green Movement in Iran? Then abandoned them? No different than his red line. Tonight, Trump said he “doesn’t make empty threats. When I make promises, I keep them.” And from his record so far, there’s no reason to doubt him.

History was made today. And the unspoken message, made clear today, is that when it comes to matters this important, he doesn’t play. And that’s a good thing.

Trump Living Rent-Free In McCain’s Head

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said on Monday that it is “ridiculous” for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) to request President Trump not attend his funeral.

Some might rather throw a party, for the passing of the Senator who ran on repealing Obamacare, yet was the sole reason it was not repealed by voting against repeal as soon as he had the chance. The liar doesn’t care about you. All he cares about is obstructing the guy who beat the crap out of him and insulted him.

Hatch is right. But that’s McCain, able to survive being a prisoner in Vietnam, but unable to survive a competing presidential candidate’s comment about it.

17 Year Olds Prefer Russia

We have 17 yr olds wanting to infringe upon and otherwise take away our 2A rights. They would feel right at home in Russia, where they don’t have 1A rights either. In Russia, not only will you not be allowed to own a handgun, you won’t be allowed to complain about it either. They should move there. Just run across their border and enjoy it.

In Russia, Putin arrests the losing opposition party candidate. Much more effective than using their intelligence apparatus to spy on them and anyone they talk to, like what happened here. Problem is, I don’t see the difference.

France, Britain Embarrassed By Trump’s Suggestion

In a speech to the National Rifle Association (NRA) on Friday, referring to the shooting of victims in the Paris rampage, Trump said if civilians had been armed “it would have been a whole different story.” Considering the host audience, a quite natural observation. Maybe that’s why Macron and Le Maire were not invited to be speakers?

French President Macron’s statement “France is proud to be a country where acquiring and carrying firearms is strictly regulated.”

His world experience is limited though. At 40 years old, he doesn’t understand the concept that America is a proud country where the citizens have a right to bear arms.

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said he hoped Trump “would come back on his words and express regret”. No regret for a country that incorporates the right to bear arms into its Constitution.

Were it not for citizens bearing arms, there would have been no War for Independence from Britain that France helped us win. Americans acknowledge and Thank You for your participation. Appreciate the Statue of Liberty too!

With open borders and all that comes with it, seems to me gun control is the least of their problems.
