Putin’s Puppets

60 Minutes reports that Russia’s goal is to sow discord and division in and about our country. Ironic that they don’t credit Democrats and the media for doing Putin’s bidding.

Former FBI spy-hunter Robert Anderson says Russia’s goals today are the same as in the Soviet era: to sow discord in the U.S. and doubt about our democracy around the world.

Lawless resistance

Democrats are first to declare, amid their Congressional investigations, “we need to get to the facts, we need to find out what happened.” Well, who could disagree with that?

First, they begin with the presumption that something illegal happened. Now all that’s left for them to do is to find out what it was.

Carrying on investigations in search of a crime, if not committing a crime to find a crime, is not aligned with that whole “innocent until proven guilty” thing. You know, the Constitution.

This is why Democrats must be defeated in every election, until they come to their senses and actually support, protect, and defend the U.S. Constitution.

Public health alert, again

Wouldn’t it be nice to see the water quality of Bayou Texar be safe to go into again? Right now, it is not. Page through the last year of Health Department inspections and see how often this occurs for Bayou Texar.

Unless you’ve been paying attention, you will be surprised to learn that the regular and chronic closing of Bayou Texar due to fecal contamination has been an issue in Pensacola for over 30 years. And it isn’t getting any better. Not surprising since the City/County/State government has done nothing to remedy the situation.

Now, Bayou Texar is ranked the worst in the State of Florida.

Top six Florida sample sites by the number of potentially unsafe days:

  • Bayou Texar: 24 (Escambia County)
  • Sanders Beach: 23 (Escambia County)
  • Crandon Park on Key Biscayne: 17 (Miami-Dade County)
  • Bird Key Park: 17 (Sarasota County)
  • Venice Fishing Pier: 15 (Sarasota County)
  • Bayou Chico: 14 (Escambia County)

The report also revealed, “a sampling site at Bayou Texar in Escambia County was potentially unsafe for 24 days, more than any other site in the state.”

Bayou Texar water quality and what’s being done about it has been on The Lunch Counter’s radar since 2007. A link to all of the articles is HERE.  Sadly, it seems the reason I posed for the lack of action in 2007 remains the same. There is no political will to follow through to clean it up. And there are no deep pockets to sue.

Dems Immigration plan

Now that D’s and the media, for the most part, recognize that the Southern border is out of control, they all still resist any attempt of the Trump administration to fix it.

They scoff at President Trump’s invites to Democrats to meet and fix it. Meanwhile, record number of illegals make their way here to get on the gravy train. The incentives that the current immigration laws provide them.

Some R’s accuse the Democrats as not having a plan to deal with the crisis on the border. It should be obvious by now that they actually do have a plan. Democrats’ plan is to do nothing. They’re seeing undocumented democrats. The rest of America and Americans be damned.

Great week for trump

  • Economy humming
  • ISIS wiped out in Syria
  • Recognition of Israel’s territory and sovereignty
  • Mueller investigation confirms that Trump beat Hillary Clinton fair and square

He summed it up precisely. It was “an illegal takedown that failed.”

Now maybe the DOJ will, for the first time, take an objective look into how it all began? An equal system of justice demands nothing less.

Budget deal Message

This budget deal is Democrats’ way of saying “FU Trump. We Heart Open Borders. Here’s what you have to work with. Have a nice day!”

As small as it is, it comes with a qualifications.  For instance, no increase in the number of Border Patrol Agents.

As for the “barrier,” the legislation limits designs to only those that were in use two years ago, before Trump’s election. No Trump innovation, no new wall construction or design is permitted.

The legislation does not pay for the increase in beds the administration requested for detention facilities. Left up to what the House appropriated, they intend to continue the catch and release of illegal aliens, including those with criminal records.

Let them sleep on the floor then. The ‘plus’ from that would be that it would be a negative incentive for others to come and crash the border. Which is currently estimated to be 60,000 per month. And, that they will not be released to prey on Americans and American Cities because Democrats won’t spring for a bed.

The House of Representatives is not responsible for the National Security. The Executive Branch is. That’s why President Trump has declared a National State of Emergency, to give him the means to fulfill his responsibility of keeping us safe.

Oddly, Nancy Pelosi and her Party are crying that Trump has overstepped his bounds by going around Congress. In reality, it is Congress that failed to provide funding necessary for national security, something they are not responsible for. By virtue of their actions, NOT funding national security as requested by the DHS, Border Patrol, and the President, Congress is the one interfering with business of the Executive Branch. Not the other way around.

Warren In For 2020

Sen. Elizabeth Warren announcing her candidacy for 2020 presidential race is so patriotically inspiring about America and Americans, surpassing Trump’s SOTU Address. NOT!

She portrays an angry woman inciting her supporters to essentially hate successful people in America, because, they became rich by robbing you, the ordinary working man. Wouldn’t they do better if they kept their money, and not give it to billionaires?

And when you apply for the Texas State Bar, that’s where you become an American Indian.

Manufactured Controversy

So the meme of the day now is, if you support the President of the United States for re-election or otherwise, you must be a racist? If they only knew how incredibly ridiculous they look. Let’s see, do you remember people reacting like this when Obama fans openly showed support for him? Accusing them of what? Being an anti-police anti-American Marxists who serves Iran over the United States? I don’t remember that.

Supporting the President is a choice, and being able to express that is a right.  Maybe they don’t teach that at Coach Michael Walker’s school? Frankly, in light of the 24/7 attacks on President Trump by the media/left/Democrats, all the same, it is refreshing to see youngsters participating in the civics arena. I know, independent thinking is frowned upon by so-called educators today.

Haven’t seen a picture of him, but I gather that Coach Waker, is a Black man. Probably identifies as a man anyway. Just a guess. That’s really not an issue. Especially on Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, where we are judged by the content of our character, not the color of our skin. A lot of White people voted for Obama you know. Seems Mr. Walker is still pre-occupied with the 60’s. As evidenced by this in their statement, “This all comes down to people trying to see one another’s point of view—and we’re coming from a place that recognizes a history of oppression for people of color.” We all have that same historical perspective. We all know where it came from, the Democrats. And we’re not at that place any more.

The coach also keep his team in the locker room during playing of the National Anthem. On his Facebook page, Coach Walker says “Please explain how and why this is appropriate at a high school basketball game?” Seems a just a little too intolerant to me.

The school put out this statement on the ‘controversy.’

Roosevelt boys basketball team statement

“The issue is what our President represents to many people of color, whether that’s what the Jordan fans knew or not.”

Really? The issue is learning to face the fact the President of the United States is the president. Like it or not. If not, you are able to try to vote him out of office. Meanwhile, open your hearts to your fellow Americans who have a different choice in mind. And get over it.

The school district had a different take on the situation.

As a school district, we support positive action that creates space for conversation and understanding among people with diverse viewpoints. Part of our role is to help our students learn how to actively engage in civic conversations—that is what education is all about.

Based on the team’s statement, looks like the superintendent has his work cut out for him, to teach their students how to cope with life, and elections.

This story encompasses all the media bias, including of course, in the title, from Yahoo News, Teens incite controversy with ‘Trump 2020’ flag at high school basketball game: ‘Please explain how and why this is appropriate’

They need to make up their mind here, is it inciting controversy or is it creating a space for conversation and understanding among people with diverse viewpoints? As usual, the adults are using the kids for their political bias, and the media eats it up. Dr. King would not approve of how his Dream turned into a nightmare in the Minneapolis School District.

I support the President. Your mileage may vary.

Warren’s Dukakis Moment

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, trying to sell herself as your average beer-swigging multimillionaire former Harvard Law prof who’s a champion of the middle class, pops a bottle of beer. Pulled that cap off with her bare hands. The name Michael Dukakis comes to mind.

Wanting to appeal to the middle class, she pops a beer. Stereotype much? Hillary’s hot sauce. John Kerry tried to relate with ‘get me a hunting license’ line, in full camo. Odd how Democrats always pretend to be something they’re not.
