Funny And Not

Don’t spend too much time dwelling on just how much over his head President Obama is, nor on how his motivations are purely political. Laughing at his incompetence won’t bring down the debt one cent.

Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.”

Actually Jared Monti was killed in action in Afghanistan, on June 21, 2006.

  1. That’s right. Obama later called the father personally and apologized. The father accepted it. The point is not to get wrapped up in these kind of distractions and get down to reducing the size and scope of government and the national debt and current deficit. Something the party of Obama is not interested in doing.

  2. Here’s what the soldiers father said:

“He apologized to me more than once,’’ said Paul Monti, whose son, Sergeant 1st Class Jared Monti, was killed in battle in Afghanistan five years ago, in a phone interview yesterday. “He was very sincere. I thought it was a wonderful thing for him to do.’’

“He could have just let it go,’’ Monti said. “He could have sent a statement to the press; he could have had an aide call me. But he was man enough to call me himself and I think that the highest honor you can get from someone is a personal apology.’’

Since he was the one that lost the son I guess his words mean a little more than yours.

Also, as the party that has quail, bush, and palin, you need to look in the mirror before throwing stones.
