Geraldo Rivera has trouble discussing illegal immigration. His whole world revolves around championing law breaking when it comes to our borders. To him, there is no such thing as an illegal immigrant or an illegal migrant. That’s why he will label anyone who tries to support legal immigration as being anti-immigrant, like he did with Michelle Malkin.
There is one question that the pompous Geraldo Rivera, champion of Latino illegals everywhere, cannot and will not address. “What do you think about sanctuary cities?” Everybody he meets on and off the air should ask him that question until he gives us his answer. Until that happens, Geraldo who?

update 8/27/07 : It finally happened. Geraldo spent a few minutes on H&C last week on the subject of sanctuary cities. He obviously supports the notion of sanctuary cities if you read the transcript of the show. Neither he nor Alan Colmes could grasp the argument that the murders of the three college students were preventable. Whereas all the other crimes that Geraldo and Colmes wanted to compare to in order to call the other side racists. The fact that they were illegal didn’t matter. But when it is preventable, it does matter.
I find Geraldo to represent well, the conventional main stream media. He always inserts himself into the story, no matter the subject. His stories are always emotionally charged and presented with very little in the way of logic and reason. The emotional factor allows him to hide behind his mask where having to do a story using reason would expose him as a phony and a self-serving horses petute
I have never watched “Geraldo” > I have always though him a buffoon especially after the “Capone Farce”. And his loving comments on his show to HIS President Clinton, “I love you Mr President” “I want to hug you Mr. President”.
How about that farce where he was supposedly shot at in the mideast and he did a back flip when he heard the bullet coming. How about the time he was supposedly on a boat alone at sea in a powerful storm, I often wondered how that was recorded. I stilll believe that hi little dust up with O”Reilly was staged.
Also Michelle Malkin ate the dummies lunch in her Illegal Alien debate on another O’Reilly Show.
I remember it well. I also remember him scratching out troop placements in the sand in Iraq, and playing cowboy in Afghanistan with his pistol, and crying like a baby while holding up a baby in New Orleans, and defending murderous illegals by attempting to equivocate them with all other criminals.
Because he strives to make all his stories the emotional equivalent of a death in the family, he has no credibility left with me. Of course, that should be obvious by now.
Geraldo’s credibility was lost with me many many years ago. Do you remember Al Capone’s secret room in his basement? Geraldo’s not gotten any better since that night.
You were magnificent in your face off with the phony one, Jerry Rivers aka Geraldo, concerning Illegal immigration. If Fox had given Michelle a show instead of that scum there would be more viewers on Sat and Sun evening. He comes on television goes off.
Why doesn’t Jerry Rivers aka Geraldo Rivera deport himself back home to Canada! And stop telling U.S. citizens how, and what this country needs! Go Home, Jerry!
