De-Growth Department Of Energy

If any politician in this country is a Russian asset, it’s Joe Biden and the de-growth global warming nuts who control him. In the Biden Administration, the Dept. of Energy isn’t about getting cheap, plentiful, and clean energy. It’s about “Addressing the effects of climate change.”

Why else would he reverse US energy independence while lifting sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, forcing us to buy oil from Russia and unfriendly states in the Middle East and Communist Venezuela, begging OPEC to increase their production?

But that’s not enough for Joe Biden. Contrary to its purpose, he wants to use the strategic reserves as a response to high prices at the pump. So if and when time comes that we actually need the strategic reserves, we won’t have them and will still be beholden to the same communist regimes for energy.

Current authorized capacity of the SPR (Strategic Petroleum Reserve) is 714 million barrels.  In 2019 there were 634.9 million barrels in reserve. Today, that is down to 568 million barrels. A decrease of 10% from 2019 with no plans to replenish, and a 20% decrease from authorized capacity.

Putin couldn’t have done a better job of weakening our country and national security. For that, Biden gets a Happy Face from Vlad. And the global warming nuts are all warm and fuzzy. Because for them increasing oil production is a good thing as long as we don’t do it ourselves.

This is what fundamental change in America is shaping up to be as long as the Left and spineless Democrats are in the majority.

No Security For You

Palestinian gunmen ambushed and killed two Israeli police officers at the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem on Friday, July 14, bringing bloodshed and chaos to a religious site that is sacred to both Jews and Muslims. The attackers were all (Muslim) Israeli citizens of Palestinian descent.

The attackers smuggled weapons into the compound. In an obvious attempt to make the holy site safe, for everyone, including Muslims and Jews, Israel set up metal detectors at the three strategic entrance points. Unfortunately, it comes too late for the two dead Israeli police officers. Had they been installed years ago like exist in Mecca and Medina, they would be alive today.

The reaction to make the site safe has resulted in protests by the Palestinians and like-minded terrorists who just want to kill Jews. Which explains why there are no protests over metal detectors going on in Mecca and Medina. In Israel, Muslims can practice their religion and be citizens. Not so in Saudi Arabia, where Jews are not even allowed in.

The UN, the Pope, and other nations are calling for a de-escalation of tensions. Looking for Israel to submit. Not for the out-of-control Palestinians to shut up and go home. True to form, the Muslim authorities that oversee al-Aqsa said they would continue to oppose any new Israeli-imposed measures. And Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas cancelled a planned security meeting after announcing he was cutting all contacts with Israel.

So the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, does not want a secure holy site either. This should tell you how good a “two-state solution” would work.  They want to be able to kill Jews. Jews don’t want to be killed. Where’s the common ground?

Funny how the Fake News media doesn’t think this story is more important than the flow chart at The White House.

OPEC’s World Changing

Ever since the long gas lines of the 70’s and the invention of the Department of Energy under Jimmy Carter (which proved to be an exercise in futility), Americans have been held hostage to OPEC in the prices they pay for fuel.

Two headlines tell a story . . .

Finally, having the will to use the energy potential we have,  the United States can shift from being an energy buyer to an energy producer-seller. And OPEC doesn’t like the new competition.

Thanks to the Trump administration’s opening up of our own energy resources with the goal of energy independence, the global energy market has changed.

Nothing against OPEC, but it is they who have to adjust to market pressures. As for the United States? It’s America first.

Debate 2016: Iran Nuclear Deal

What Hillary Clinton said in response to Donald Trump’s comment about the Iran nuclear deal being a disaster, was one of the highlights, or lowlights, of the night. Given the magnitude for disaster that nuclear weapons pose, so much was said by Clinton that contradicts her claim to being fit for duty as our President.

Speaking of Iran and the “Deal,” Hillary Clinton said . . .

“They had built covert facilities.”

True.

Barack Obama, herself, and John Kerry “got a deal that put a lid on Iran’s nuclear program.”

False. First of all, the so-called “lid” is temporary (10 yrs.), after that they can do whatever the hell they want. The “lid” is gone. The deal also presumes that Iran won’t cheat during that 10 yr. timeframe.  From the country that “had built covert facilities,” why would we think Iran might cheat? They’ll still have their nuclear weapons whether they cheat or not.

“Nuclear weapons pose the number one threat we face in the world. And it becomes particularly threatening if terrorists ever get their hands on nuclear weapons.”

Iran is the largest State sponsor of terror and terrorists in the world. Led by Mullahs who chant ‘death to America, the Great Satan’ and death to Israel. “Threatening” (to quote Hillary Clinton) to us, Israel, and our allies in the Middle East. The Iran Deal paves the way for them to achieve the nuclear status they want. And it isn’t for producing electricity. This deal is the nuclear proliferation that she claims she does not want. In other words, it’s not good if Japan or South Korea have them, but it’s just fine if Iran does?

And here’s the kicker, the Deal was . . .

“Very successful in gaining access to Iranian facilities that we never had before.”

This is very telling, in how weak a deal it is just so President Obama, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton can say that they made one. It’s from the very same perspective that they say our Southern border has never been as secure as it is today.

They caved to Iran on “anytime anyplace” inspections. That was one of the conditions Obama bragged about. (Remember him bragging about Obamacare, none of which has come to fruition?) But true to form, Iran stuck to their guns, and Kerry caved to the point that, not only are there no anytime anyplace inspections, but there are nuclear facilities that are “off limits” to independent inspectors. What could go wrong with a deal like that?

And who will stop Iran from using their nuclear weapons capacity? Won’t be the United States. According to the deal, we have to protect Iran’s nuclear facilities. According to the deal that she, Kerry, and Obama have made, if Israel finds it necessary to act on their own for their own national security, it will be the U.S. who will protect Iran’s nuclear facilities. That means fighting against our ally and protecting this terrorist State. And that makes sense to who? To Barack Obama, who’s mission is building his legacy, even if it is fake, built on lies and naiveté.

Continuing to lie to the American people, like her former boss does, when the American people are trying to decide on their next president, is Hillary Clinton’s most “qualifying” moral trait.

No, Islam Is Not Consistent With Freedom Or The Constitution

Obama appoints Hamas supporter to Commission on Religious Freedom

James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute, and curiously enough, Commissioner of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, took Ben Carson’s statement to task, by denying what Islam is about and, calling his comment stupid and bigoted. Saying that Carson is “playing to the base of the Republican Party.” Did I mention Zogby is part of the Obama administration?

Can you say ‘Sharia Law’ Mr. Zogby? The term sharia comes from the Arabic language term sharīʿah, which means a body of moral and religious law derived from religious prophecy, as opposed to human legislation, like oh say, State and Federal government as guided by the Constitution.

Carson made himself perfectly clear that one’s religion does not matter as long as it is consistent with American principles and values. He also said that if a Muslim were to uphold American values and principles then that would be fine. And Muslims trying to institute Sharia Law in the United States is fact, not playing. But you’re not hearing that from the media, are you? Ben Carson is more right than anyone on the Left cares to admit. And he doesn’t do PC either.

For Zogby to deny Sharia is to deny the inseparable nature of Islam and governance. In this respect, Islam and a secular government is incompatible. Islam is the religion and the controlling governance of its believers. It’s what one says and does that matters. Obama can say he’s a Christian. He can say he’s a Witch for all I care. It’s what he does that matters. Trading a traitor for the release of 5 Muslim terrorists should tell you all you need to know.

In fact, if James Zogby wants to call out bigoted and hateful comments from politicians, he should look at Hillary Clinton who has made ‘Muslim’ the new N-word.

Saudi Arabia – The First Casualty Of The Iran Nuclear Deal

If the Iran nuclear deal is ratified by the U.S. Congress and Senate, the first guaranteed casualty would be Saudi Arabia followed by all the Sheikdoms around the Persian Gulf and Jordan; Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen belong already to Iran’s sphere of influence.

The Middle East and North Africa will not be the same in the future for two reasons: 1) Either the Shia-Mullah regime of Iran will live up to the agreement, and stop all or most of their efforts to pursue developing atomic bombs; or 2) they would defy the agreement and continue developing the bombs. In either case, Iran’s subversive and terroristic activities will continue until the end goal is reached by taking over Saudi Arabia and Mecca, controlling the entire Islamic world, their huge wealth and the proceeds from the pilgrimage; a dream of the Shiites and the Shia mullahs since Imam Ali was not recognized by the Sunnis as the first caliph, which split Muslims into Sunni and Shia sects ending up with Sunni’s dominance.

Saudis are not only being threatened by the Shia mullahs; ISIS/ISIL is just as serious of a threat to the existence of the Kings and Sheiks in the Middle East. Since ISIS/ISIL wants to take Islam back to the early days of Islam, and restore the reign of caliphate in the Middle East and North Africa, Kings and Sheiks have no place in that concept.

Some uninformed people may welcome the demise of the Kings and Sheiks in the Middle East for their lavish lifestyle and imposing the Sharia laws, but neither Shia-Mullahs nor ISIS/ISIL are a right replacement.

A bleak future can be seen not only in the repeat of events after the demise of the Shah of Iran in 1979 (mass execution, exodus of educated people, refugees, etc.), but also the escalation of war and killing in the Middle East and North Africa and drastic rise of radical Islam due to rising poverty and despair in those regions.

Further, devastating development could take place if Israel’s existence is seriously threatened by the Shia mullahs forcing them to make use of an atomic bomb in that region, which would definitely lead to the most predicted Armageddon.

The Middle East and North Africa have plenty of huge and different problems. However, Iran’s nuclear deal and its ratification would not put a single dent in reducing other problems of that troubled region, much less resolving it.

If the U.S. policy-makers and their advisors were well-informed and knowledgeable about all the factors and forces involved with regard to economics, politics, religion, social issues, oil, energy, environment, etc., all the efforts would be made to change the Shia-Mullah regime of Iran by supporting Iranians to do it themselves and with no U.S. military involvement; it would definitely be the first major step toward a right direction. Below are the facts:

A friendly regime in Iran means:

  • Ending Iranian support for terrorism.
  • Balance between Shias and Sunnis in the region.
  • Ending the nuclear threat.
  • Blocking the spread of radical Islam to Europe and the U.S.
  • Recognition of Israel by the largest country in the Middle East, with friendly relations and trade.
  • Ending Iran’s drive to dominate the region and the threat to Saudi Arabia.
  • Neutralizing Russian influence in the region.
  • Protecting the U.S. Dollar’s reserve currency status.
  • A huge new market for U.S. business, civilian and military, hundreds of billions of dollars in new trade agreements.
  • Secure, stable energy supplies for the world,
  • Avoiding another protracted and expensive war in the Middle East.

Falling Gas Prices, Perfect Storm

During the Bush administration, when gas prices were climbing above $3 a gallon, the Democrat leadership was accusing “two oil men in The White House” for gouging the American people.  And, any suggestion that supply and demand was at work brought out the  economic deniers.

Now that gasoline prices at the pump are falling, where is the media giving credit to President Obama? If the president can increase the gas prices, he can also decrease them.

To be sure, gas prices are falling. The answer is, the president does not want gas prices to fall. That is why the administration is not out there taking credit for it. It could, however, take the blame for it. Watch for this president to somehow support OPEC to get prices back up.

The drop has been driven by a boom in shale production in the United States as well as weakness in some major world economies, causing supply to outpace demand.

Include the United States as one of those “major world economies causing supply to outpace demand.” Demand weakens when you stop driving to work, or take fewer trips in your car, because you do not have a job to drive to.

Foreign Policy? What Foreign Policy?

January 1, 2014 to June 23, 2014, after a decade of war, trillions of dollars, and hundreds of thousands of American lives lost or affected, the progress and victory in Iraq has vanished. Iraq is being over-run by al-Qaeda type terrorists, slaughtering Iraqis along the way.

Libya, gone. Syria, gone. Russia, belligerent as ever and making a mockery of Obama while invading and taking parts of Ukraine.

Our allies, like Poland and Ukraine, know that the United States can not be counted on as an ally in any real sense. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski believes his country’s alliance with the US is worth nothing. And then some.

“The Polish-American alliance is not worth anything. It’s even damaging, because it creates a false sense of security in Poland,” Sikorski allegedly said.

“Complete bullshit,” the tape purportedly records Sikorski as saying. “We will get a conflict with both Russians and Germans, and we’re going to think that everything is great, because we gave the Americans a blowjob. Suckers. Total suckers.”

Can’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s what you get when you put a community organizer in The White House.

Egypt Arrests Muslim Brotherhood Leader, Obama Dumbfounded

Egyptian security forces have arrested the top leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, pressing a crackdown on his group. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates know who the enemy is, and have already sent over $12 Billion to support Egypt’s military, who is taking the fight to them. The U.S. position under obama_surrenderPresident Obama? Undecided.

He won’t say releasing Mubarak, who he help to overthrow, is good. But does say that Morsi (Muslim Brotherhood) should be released. Won’t say a peep about the war on Christians in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood. Where Egypt’s neighbors have stepped up financial support to Egypt’s military to take the fight to the ‘Hood, to the tune 10 times what the U.S. was committed to, Obama finds himself on the wrong side of the fight, if for no other reason than not being in the fight.

What we have here is the Nobel Peace prize recipient who manages to make the United States the laughing-stock of the world while at the same time alienating the United States from our friends and allies in the region.

If there’s anything more the President could do to make the United States irrelevant on the world stage, I’d like to hear it. For the first time in his Presidency, he has finally come upon an instance where ‘voting present’ isn’t an option, and he hasn’t the courage to take a stand. It’s what ‘leading from behind’ gets us.

Saudi Newspaper Columnist Could Face Death Penalty

More intolerance from the so-called religion of peace. That would be Islam. The place is Saudi Arabia. A reporter’s life is in jeopardy because he questioned something about the ‘Prophet Muhammad’ on what is believed to be his birthday. According to the article, ‘Insulting the prophet is considered blasphemy in Islam and is punishable by death in Saudi Arabia.’

The propensity for Muslims who decide they are offended in the name of the head of their faith to resort to murder is difficult to understand for someone who lives in a country where there still is religious freedom and freedom of thought, the press. As a matter of fact, in America, that freedom is guaranteed in writing.

There was plenty for Christians to be insulted about Sunday night at the Grammy Awards show. Although it was insulting to the faith and Christians, I doubt that Jesus was offended. He is above all that. He is forgiving. Chalk it up to a rebellious tramp that wants attention. She got it. And she is forgiven.

Are we to understand that the faith of the Prophet Muhammad is based on revenge and murder? It seems as though the people who want this kid killed feel an obligation to murder other people to advance their religion. Or at least their version of their religion. I’m not sure which it is. Maybe an Imam somewhere out there can explain it for us?

That there is no such thing as religious freedom in Saudi Arabia should be obvious from the subject of this story. Despite what Saudi Arabia CLAIMS.
