Repeal, Do Not Replace

Not Repeal And Replace. Just Repeal. Then fix what’s left with private sector solutions, competition, Health Savings Accounts and Risk Pools.

Not Obamacare-lite with wealth transfers using the tax code. No government mandates on people, policies, coverage, or bailout guarantees for health insurance carriers. All of which contribute to higher premiums, higher deductibles, and yes, death panels.

Give insurance carriers time to revise their actuary tables for free and open market competition. They needed more than a year to adapt to Obamacare and that included 24 months of bailouts. Likewise, they will need time to adjust to something they’ve never tried, or been allowed to try, before. Free-market interstate competition where the consumer, not the government, chooses the policies and coverage they want.

Repeal Obamacare. There is no “better” way for government to make, or manage, your health care choices. Look what a great job they do with the VA. The utopian dream of socialized medicine doesn’t work, is not sustainable, and no where close to affordable.

Trump Was Right

Bound to drive Democrats and their news media (even more) crazy today is the news that the Obama administration did, in fact, scoop up surveillance information from Trump associates and campaign staff, not related to Russia, and, disseminated that information without blocking out the identities of the Americans, some of whom were Trump associates, both before the election and after the election.

Seems to me that the Left has been asking the wrong person for proof that Trump and his associates were spied on. The newspapers are the ones who’ve been publishing it. Why not ask them for proof?

Now that point is moot, because it did happen. House Intelligence Chairman, Devin Nunes, told reporters that the U.S. intelligence community incidentally collected information on members of President Trump’s transition team, possibly including Trump himself, and the information was “widely disseminated” in intelligence reports.

Chairman Nunes said he had viewed dozens of documents showing that the information had been incidentally collected. He said that he believes the information was legally collected.  Nunes said that the intelligence has nothing to do with Russia and that the collection occurred after the presidential election.

We know quite a lot now. We know from FBI Director Comey that there is an ongoing investigation into possible ties to Russia and the Trump campaign, and, that there was no collaboration found. Collaboration into interfering in the campaign or the election.

We know that Flynn’s name was not shielded from the contents of ‘the wiretaps’ that the NYT and others reported. Not shielding Americans from FISA surveillance is against the FISA rules, and the unauthorized the release of same is a felony.

We know the Obama administration expanded access to unmasked intelligence reports two weeks prior to the end of his administration. We also know, from the Comey hearing, that not only did James Clapper (DNI) and John Brennan (CIA), have access to this, but a lot of people in The White House also had access to it. Including Susan Rice (NSA), Ben Rhodes Deputy NSA, AG Loretta Lynch, and her deputy Sally Yates.

Still wondering why the media has no interest in finding out who “outed” Flynn and others associated with the Trump campaign and the Trump administration? What are they concerned with? They’re concerned with why Nunes revealed some truth which effectively took the wind right out of their sails. Still not concerned with who authorized the surveillance and who the leaker(s) is.

Even worse, for a media so hyped up against police state tactics and spying, their total lack of interest in what the Obama administration was doing to political opponents is beyond hypocritical. Had the guy in The White House at the time been a Republican, every story would have the words Nazi and Hitler in it.

Bottom line, Trump was right. And the news media is looking even more fake by sticking to their literal interpretation of Trump’s tweet.

Judicial Anarchy, Tyranny

Another rogue judge ruling, not on the law, not on the constitution, but on his (and Obama’s) personal feelings and agenda.

A few days before the travel ban v2.0, President Obama met with the judge, a former Harvard Law School classmate, while vacationing in Hawaii. Then miraculously, 2 hours after the temporary travel ban was issued, this judge comes up with a 34 page law-less opinion issuing a stay.

Echoes of the politicized DOJ are clear in the court system too. Time to get the impeachment train running. When we lose the rule of law, we lose the country.

No Mammograms Here

Amid the controversy around the government to stop giving $500,000,000 a year of taxpayer money to a company, friendly to the Democrat Party, the usual reaction is, but oh, where are women to go for mammograms? This company is a tax-exempt “non-profit” named Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. (PPFA), or Planned Parenthood.

PPFA has its roots in Brooklyn, New York, where Margaret Sanger opened the first birth control clinic in the U.S. in 1916. For Eugenicists, like Sanger, abortions were key in refining the Aryan  race, The Negro Project. Sanger founded the American Birth Control League in 1921, which changed its name to Planned Parenthood in 1942.

Despite its background, proponents of Planned Parenthood, and Democrats fighting to keep you funding them, say that pulling funding will hurt their mission to provide “reproductive health services.” What they really mean is un-productive health services, abortion.

Democrats like Sen. Charles Schemer, and ACLU Deputy Legal Director and Planned Parenthood champion Louise Melling, say that some women rely on Planned Parenthood for their mammograms. It sounds persuasive to the ‘dumb masses’ (say that real fast) so that’s all that matters for them. For them, perception is reality. The reality is, Planned Parenthood does not offer mammograms as a service.

If serving women’s health issues were the object, which it is not, then the Democrats in Washington would have no hesitation in pulling the half-billion dollars from the 700 Planned Parenthood Clinics, and instead divvy it up to the 13,540 other women’s clinics in the country. Clinics that do provide mammograms, reproductive health services, and do not kill babies and sell their remains.

M.R.I.O.T.D. Winner

The Lunch Counter has another winner for the MRIOTD award. This week, the competition was tight.

The contestants are Nelini Stamp from the Working Families Party, and, one of the organizers for that feminazi march earlier this week, for a statement attributed to her in this tweet.

And actress Cate Blanchett who, when asked by Late Show host Stephen Colbert about where her moral compass was, said “It’s in my vagina.” No doubt pointing to the left.

Nelini Stamp is the winner of the MRIOTD award for her statement. A statement that leaves in doubt who births the other half of the population?

Health Insurance? No Fix For You!

This Obamacare replacement bill proves Republicans bought into the Democrats’ premise of government-controlled and financed health care, and, that it is a “right.” A losing, for everybody, dead in the water proposition. There’s no mention in my copy of the Constitution that a health insurance policy is a right.

The fix is to back up to pre-Obamacare. The only mandate should be that there are no interstate or intrastate barriers to competition between insurance carriers. No mandated coverages, no government-guaranteed customers, no wealth transfer via the tax code.

It took the insurance industry more than a year just to jigger their actuary tables into how they could stay in business under the terms that the ACA was sold to them, complete with the government bailouts, which have now ended; the promises never came to fruition, and the whole mess is collapsing. Likewise, it will take some time for them to adjust them to free-market competition, where the people can buy the kind of insurance and coverage that they want. Patient centered, with their own health savings account that they own.
