What an incoherent argument.

Affordable housing will be accomplished and race issues will improve by taking away a historic street name from Pensacola's designated historic districts?

And at least two councilmembers believe it?

scarey!

One amazing thing about Boyd's presentation was that he acknowledged that the people in the affected area were canvassed eight years ago and they chose to keep the old name, and he attributes their decision to them being racists. He is fine with the decision that the people made in the area that currently IS named MLK Drive.

It is just amazing how intolerant he is with people that he disagrees with, and calls them racists because of it. I wouldn't say that he is stuck on stupid. I would say that he is stuck in the last century and has a need, in his own way, to be relevant.

Then he threatens the city council that he is going to make Pensacola famous for being full of racists. So when the people in the affected area again choose to keep the same name, which I have no doubt that they will, he will call them racists again.

His group is allegedly supposed to be about 'social justice.' Apparently and to him, that is a one-sided concept.

Thank you for speaking at the meeting. Very good.

This is clearly a pursuit to divide not unite.

Mr. Jerralds and Mr. Hall were wrong to minimize our history and rally division. They showed no leadership with their comments.

We are very lucky to have three historic districts in America's first settlement.

Why can't Mr. Boyd respect the decades of work of others to preserve Pensacola's history ?

How can one expect respect when one gives none.
