Update 11/24/08: I did not anticipate the question ‘What’s wrong with this picture?’ to have, apparently, gone over so many heads. So I’ll answer my own question. What is wrong is the normalization of unmarried and underage women/girls having babies out of wedlock, then wanting to continue to do so. David Letterman can claim some credit also for creating a bastard child over 4 years ago, and being proud of it. Unfortunately for our society, lowering moral standards has become ‘hip.’ And for this reason, Halle Berry is awarded the Lunch Counter’s Most Ridiculous Item Of The Day award.
